Trained cat caretaker
I've been regularly pet sitting both cats and dogs since 2020 and currently care for 7 pets on a regular basis when their humans are away. I grew up with cats at home, taking an active role in their care from a young age. This is where my love of cats came from and gave me an instinctive understanding of their behaviour. I have experience as a fosterer for the UK's leading cat charity, where I received training in cat welfare and behaviour. This has given me a thorough understanding of cats' needs and their care. I've cared for cats of all different ages (from 8-week old kittens to senior cats) and with differing levels of comfort around people.

I have been trusted by cat owners to care for their pets and their homes while they're away. Through my volunteer cat fostering experience I was trained in cat welfare and behaviour, which covered environmental factors.

Kathleen's communications have been excellent and she has made friends with our timid cat, giving her the attention and company she needed while we were away (as well as the practical stuff like food, water and litter-tray cleans). We appreciated the updates and photos after every visit. I won't hesitate to book Kathleen again, she offers an excellent service.
Kathleen does a great job. She is very trustworthy and looks after my cats just as I ask her to. She keeps me informed of how they are and always asks if she is concerned about anything to do with them. She also sends me photos with every visit she does. Thoroughly recommended.

Harmonogram
I work full time, but with semi-flexible hours I'm able to accommodate early morning and late afternoon drop-in visits as well as overnight stays in the owner's home.
