I have two high energy black labs so I am used to dogs that need long walks and lots of stimulation. I am very comfortable around big dogs as mine are both 80 lbs. I prioritize trust and comfort for the dogs I care for. I work to build a strong bond with dogs I work with in order for both of us to have a good time.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences and the schedule they usually operate on. Also let me know if your pet has any troublesome habits. I won't be turned away by them, I just want to make sure I know to hide my socks or keep all food completely out of reach.
A typical day
I enjoy talking dogs on walks around the area, especially down towards the water so we can do a little swimming if it is hot out. If dogs have a little more energy, there are some really good hikes in the area and a dog park for them to play with other dogs. I have watched some dogs that are homebodies, so I we just play endless fetch in the yard.

I have worked with a lot of high energy dogs so I understand and am willing to do the work that is needed for them. I have also worked with dogs that have had traumatic pasts and have spent time working with them to trust their environment and other people.

She was fantastic. Spent a good deal of time with the dogs on walks. Very punctual and responsive to texts. Kept the house very clean and washed dishes used for dog food. Will definitely use her again.
Kathleen is fantastic! She’s taken care of our family’s two dogs for years now. The older dog (now passed away) was a doodle mix and Katie was amazing at keeping her active and putting up with her old dog attitude. The other dog, a Newfoundland, Katie has watched since she was a puppy. Katie was great even when our Newfie was terrible on a leash and had her puppy behaviors. Katie is dependable, communicative, and great with dogs of all sizes, ages and energy levels!! She also dogsits for our neighbors, who love her also.
