*I work outside of the house during the week. Please make sure your dog is comfortable being left alone during the workday before booking* I am a lover of all types of dogs and a very experienced pet care giver. I've worked with multiple dogs at one time, dogs that receive daily medication, and dogs with special needs (anxiety, sight problems, etc.). I previously had my own dog who was extremely fear reactive, so I am familiar and comfortable with making accommodations for anxious friends who need a little extra patience and understanding. I work a regular 9-5 job outside of the house during the week, but will always be sure to take your pup for a substantial walk in the morning before I leave and again when I get home. My apartment is very dog friendly and pups are allowed on all surfaces. I also have area rugs throughout the house to help keep them from sliding on the wood floors. I have plenty of toys including enrichment activities and if your pup is interested can practice some basic training as well. I am also happy to let dogs roam around my (small) apartment, or can crate them if necessary. I am very flexible and happy to work with you to make sure your dog is happy and comfortable while he or she stays with me.

Kathleen is awesome!! She's become my go to on Rover when I need someone to watch Finley. My pup Finley is always excited to stay with her and I've got complete peace of mind while I'm away.

Schedule
I am in office 5 days a week and usually leave the house by 715am and return around 430pm. On weekends, I am usually in and out, but can plan around your dog’s needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a garden style apartment building with my own exit to the outdoors. I have gates set up in front of doors to prevent any escape artists and am always aware of the environment outside to make sure it won’t upset your pup. There is some noise from neighbors, but I can play white noise during the day if that will help your pup feel safer.
A typical day
Pets will get a walk around the neighborhood in the morning before I head to work and when I return in the evening. I have plenty of toys for them to play with and lots of treats as long as they are ok with you!

I am very experienced with reactive dogs, but it’s helpful to know how your dog reacts to their triggers and how I can best manage them and help them cope. Also, please let me know if they have any food sensitivities, require any meds, or if there are any other fun quirks that will help me provide the best care
