As someone who works remotely from home, I have a lot of flexibility to support early morning and early evening drop-in visits, and can arrange my schedule to accommodate mid-day visits as needed. When it comes to overnight stays, let’s talk details of when you’d need them and if there’s an opportunity for me to support my personal kitty crew for their morning food/meds.

I bring a detail-oriented approach to help prepare and plan for every potential scenario during your absence and ensure that your pets and home are treated with the utmost care and respect. I will support a preliminary visit to run through key questions (like in an emergency, where are your pet carriers located? Who is your vet and are they aware I'd be watching them while you're gone? How can they best contact you in an emergency for decisions?), gather keys and critical home information (like what's the best temperature to keep things at for your pets? How often do you need plants watered?), and run through any questions you have of me to ensure we’re ready to go Day 1.

Knowing what's normal and typical for your pet's/s' behavior, their eating patterns, etc. helps me validate if they're comfortable and doing okay in your absence, or maybe need some special attention. Also having full knowledge of all dietary and medication needs, litter box cleaning preferences, playtime preferences, etc. helps me support their normal life and schedule just as you would.
A typical day
Depending on each cat's age and energy level, I'm happy to support what they're used to and what they need while you're away. If that means lots of snuggles and cuddles or even playtime with toys and catnip, happy to do what's best for them : )

Cat care experience
You have a kitten, adult, or senior cat? No worries either way - I've supported every age and almost every medical condition to date between my personal kitty crew and those I've watched for friends, family, and prior clients. With that experience also comes the understanding and discretion of when kitties need playtime or space, cuddles or chin scritches, or a meat tube to show a little more love that day.

Kathleen took care of our 2 cats while away for our daughter's wedding. She took great care of our home, and kitties. She gave me a few recommendations for flea control meds. Just moving to Eatonton, I was a bit hesitant finding a new pet sitter. We feel grateful for the care Kathleen showed towards our pets. I'd highly recommend her to others.

Kathleen did a great job taking care of our cat Lucy. She came over every other day to clean the litter box and make sure she had plenty of food and water. I had some newly planted flowers out front and she watered those too! I would highly recommend her.
