We have over 25 years experience raising our Labs, Rottweiler's and now our 2 year Chi-wienner dog, Ollie. I'll come to your place and care for the kids or bring them to me and they can play with Ollie. Walks, playtime and feedings are all good. It's no problem if they need their meds or other care. Your pets will be safe, loved, happy and well cared for, giving you peace of mind while you are at work or traveling. We currently live in a 1st floor 2 bedroom condo in Crystal Lake, Illinois. There are other dogs here and your pet could make other friends. While we focus on smaller dogs, let me know if you have a Rottie; we can consider them on a case by case basis. We raised four and have a special place for them in our hearts. Pet care is my only job so I spend lots of time with the dogs. I feed at 8am and 5:30pm. Walks are four times a day and my husband has them outside when it's sunny. I treat client dogs as if they are mine. They will spend the day with Ollie and I. My husband and I love dogs and to us they're family, including yours.

I cannot imagine leaving my precious dog with anyone else. Kathleen and John are so kind and I think my dog misses them already. She loved being in their care.
Kathleen and John made Fluffy feel comfortable with them because they knew how to let a shy dog come to them. They also read our instructions, and Fluffy came back still knowing not to pull ahead when walking. Fluffy also liked her dog, Ollie, who is a similarly small dog. When we picked her back up, her Wag-o-Meter was working well, too. We had been looking for a new dog sitter since the elderly couple we had used for years started having too many health problems to watch Fluffy. Well, we definitely found an excellent new pet sitter.
Kathleen and John took the best care of Maya while I was gone. She came home happy and healthier. I will call on them again when I need a sitter. It's so important to know your dog will be happy, so you can relax on your trip!
Maisy liked being with Kathleen and John - She came home happy and bouncing and her very own self. Kathleen and John are a wonderful couple who loved and cared for our Maisy for the time that we were gone. They gave us the peace of mind not to have to worry about our little one.
We are so grateful that we found Kathy and John. It was our puppy's first boarding experience, they took good care of her. We would definitely consider boarding her again with Kathy. Thank you!

Schedule
It's my only job. My husband assists me and is here five days a week and every evening. All dogs are given very personalized attention.

Safety, trust & environment
Weather permitting, my husband and I will have them outside throughout the day. Otherwise, indoor lounging is the order of the day. We feed twice a day, plus treats for all good boys and girls.
Pets
A typical day
Your dog will likely start the day sunning themselves at the patio door alongside Ollie. Outside time is weather dependent but we love to go outside. He or she could meet lots of neighbor dogs if they get along with meeting new friends. Nap times are a given. They will spend the night in an extra large wire dog crate with blankets and/or their own bedding and toys next to our own bed.
