Bringing home a new 8-week-old puppy is exciting and challenging, not just for you but for your pup as well. The first few weeks are a critical period for bonding and settling in to the foundation of rules, love and happiness for you both. But with that comes responsibility of shaping their behavior, teaching them commands with patience. One step at a time builds confidence and love resulting in a well-adjusted dog. I specialize exclusively in GoodPup puppy training for young puppies who have just joined their new families. This can be done either in-person or virtually. Proof of up-to-date vaccinations required.

We could not have asked for a better dog sitter! This was the longest we have ever been away from Coquito and Lily, and she and her husband gave us complete peace of mind. They were reliable, consistent with every visit, sent thoughtful updates and photos every day, and took amazing care of our pups and our home. It was so obvious how much love and attention they gave them, and we loved that she even incorporated a little training and enrichment during her visits. They truly went above and beyond, and we never felt like they were just checking in on the dogs. They treated Coquito and Lily like they were their own, and that meant everything to us. Hands down the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had, and we will absolutely be booking with them again. Highly recommended.
I am so thankful to have Kathleen watch my sweet senior kitty while I was on vacation. She is always communicating with me with updates and sending photos and videos to let me see how my cat is doing. I trust her completely with administering her medication as well. DROP-IN VISITS My drop-in visits are perfect for working or busy pet parents who need someone to check on their pets. DAY HOUSESITTING ONLY I also do daytime house sitting up to 4 one hour drop-ins for people that may want to take a day trip. I don’t stay overnight but I ensure your pet has all it's needs met every 4 hours from 8 am to 8 pm. I also can come back the next morning to feed and potty break. This has worked for many of my clients. I can customize the plan to your needs during our consultation. DOG WALKING I am now offering 30 minute dog walking. I am a former Canine Companions For independence puppy raiser and also a GoodPup Certified dog trainer who specializes in puppy training from 8 weeks to 1 year, level I to level II. I prefer to work with gentle, non-aggressive dogs who do not nip. I am close to the Heathrow, Lake Mary, Alaqua Lakes, The Preserve at Astor Farms, Lake Forest, Sylvan Lake, Markham Woods, Magnolia Plantation, Gateway at Riverwalk, Enclave At Tuscany, Riverside Oaks, Astor Grande at Lake Forest and The Preserve at Lake Monroe.
