I love any breed or size of dog. The things I would like to know prior to watching your dog are: Does your dog get car sick? Does your dog get aggressive off leash? Does your dog come to commands when called? Does your dog have separation anxiety if they are left alone? Does your dog run away if let off leash or will they stay close by? Does your dog have any fears? Is your dog aggressive with toys? Does your dog have any obedience training? These are all beneficial things for me to know to ensure that your dog will have the best possible stay while staying in my home.
A typical day
Love going on walks daily to get fresh air. Not only this but depending on the owner's preferences, I am extremely willing to take dogs to the dog park. I know that not everyone is comfortable with this and that's why I think it's extremely important to listen to the owner.

Hello, my name is Kathleen! Growing up I wanted a dog so badly I remember telling my parents all the reasons why we should get a dog: how loving they are and how they truly are a part of the family. Once they finally came to terms, we got our chocolate labrador retriever, Dixie. Since then, I trained and raised her. Although I no longer live with Dixie, I've lived with many dogs throughout the years as well as having my own. Since working for Rover, I've had experience with at least 12 different pups, and their feline friends. When working with me, you can expect open communication and daily pictures of your furry friends, so you know that they are safe- and having fun!

This is the second time I have had Kathleen watch my house and Arya. She is prompt and Arya loves her. She sends pictures every day which is so reassuring that all is well. I will definitely be hiring Kathleen again!
This was my first time using Rover and I am new to the area. Kathleen was absolutely wonderful and put my mind at ease that my furbaby was in great hands. She sent me pictures every day. She took her for hikes on her favorite trails and took her down to the river to sit for a while, and enjoy the sun. I am definitely using Kathleen again, and in fact, I have booked her for this coming weekend while I am in Breckenridge for a wedding.
Kathleen was such a great pet sitter for our pup, River! She was communicative, asked great questions, and made sure that River felt comfortable in her home. We are so grateful. Thank you, Kathleen!
