Pet Sitter for Dogs & Cats
I've grown up with dogs my entire life and have been caring for pets for over ten years. I volunteered weekly at the MSPCA for three years, mostly working with dogs and cats who needed extra love, socialization, and support. At 16, I began fostering cats (kittens and adults) and helped four find forever homes before leaving for college. I've also fostered a dog through my local Tennessee shelter and often pet sit for family and close friends. I'm comfortable with all personalities, from shy rescues to energetic puppies, and I treat every pet like my own.

Kathleen has been the best looking after my puppy. She's always on time and goes the extra effort to send me updates with pics after each visit, which is greatly appreciated since it's helped document my puppy's growth. (She is a great photographer!) It's tough being away from my pup and to have someone I can trust to look after him...but Kathleen has been the best. Kathleen has made it so I don't have to worry. Worth it! Thank you, Kathleen. We are going to miss you!

Schedule
I go to school in Knoxville, and have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I'm available for drop-ins, walks, or housesitting throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Your pet will get lots of attention during their routine, playtime, and feeding schedule.

I'm patient, responsible, and extremely attentive to each pet's needs. I always prioritize safety-whether that's leashed walks, secure feeding routines, or respecting your home instructions. I'm experienced with nervous or rescue animals and know how to build trust gently. I currently have no pets at home, so your dog or cat will get my full focus. I'm happy to crate your dog if preferred and will follow any rules or routines that help your pet feel safe and comfortable.
A typical day
Even though I live in an apartment, there is a designated play and potty area where I can take them throughout the day. I also love going on walks with dogs, especially trips to the park for extra exercise and enrichment. I only have classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, so I have plenty of time to spend giving your pet attention, playtime, and care. I already have toys and all the necessities for your dog, and I have experience fostering dogs, so your pet will be in a safe, loving, and well-prepared environment.
