I’m very comfortable with all dogs including large breeds, reactive dogs, seniors, puppies, high energy, giving medication. I’m open to all different animals and needs.
A typical day
Depending on the families wants and needs, I will spend lots of time with the dog outside sniffing, playing, and maybe hiking. With smaller lower energy dogs, I will spend more time inside doing mentally stimulating activities!

Pet care experience
I have been around dogs since I was 3. Starting with my childhood dog, a black lab. She grew my love for animals and from there, I started riding horses. I now have professional experience from working at the SPCA with shelter dogs and cats (training, feeding, cleaning, administrating medication) as well as working at 2 doggy daycares. I also have a 2 year old rat terrier x that is a rescue from Texas. I have done most of his training.

Kathleen was lovely! Our pup is a bit shy and timid to start but warmed up very quickly to Kathleen! She provided us with lots of photos and updates from the walk and was very quick to respond to messages. Will definitely book with her again!
Kathleen is best in class for your professionalism,care and attention she offers our Cairn Terrier. We have booked Kathleen several times and will be rebooking again soon
Kathleen spent a weekend with our English bulldog Frankie. Frank is not an easy dog. He’s a rescue and has some trauma. He can be aggressive if he doesn’t feel safe. Good news is Kathleen has a lot of experience in these situations. She is great with Frank and he loved her. When we returned home the house was in tip top shape. We would not hesitate to recommend her and have her booked already for our next trip. Thank you Kathleen!
Kathleen goes above and beyond. She altered us to problems immediately and solved them for us. She left everything perfectly and sent cute pictures every day. Our two cats were fine with her checking in on them!
