About me: I am life long animal lover. For my career, I am a devoted wildlife biologist with a specialty in animal behavior and physiology and I work from home. On the pet care front, I began caring for pets (other than my own) including working at kennels and in vet offices in my twenties. I would love to care for your cat or dog and give him/her loving attention. Ample experience in special needs, meds. Dogs do great here with attention all the time, a dog door, fenced yard, walks to Meadowbrook pond and play time at JAMs field across the street. Cats do wonderfully too -many cozy spots available in our house; if shy, no problem because the whole downstairs can be for your cat if need be. I will treat your pet as a honorary temporary family member here and I strive to listen well to the needs/preferences/routines you express for your pet and with my very flexible schedule I look forward to meeting them.

Fantastic. Coco loves Kathleen
This was my first experience with Rover and it was a relatively long stay. Winston was so well taken care of by Kathleen! He is a bit of a delicate flower and Kathleen was able to navigate his needs well. I was worried the first day or so away, then slipped into vacation mode and felt confident with the sit. It was obvious he was well loved there and our text exchanges were just right. The exercise and down time seemed to be well balanced as well. Hope to utilize Kathleen (and Raleigh) as sitters in the future. Thank you!
Kathleen is great. Our Cavapoo loved her overnight stay. Kathleen gave our dog a lot a of attention, communicated with us daily and sent pictures too. We have been back for play dates at Kathleen's since. Are dog can't wait for her next visit to Kathleen's.

Schedule
I work from home which is fantastic - so I can easily accommodate to your pet’s routine as needed. Up early, can do multiple walks a day!

I am an attentive pet sitter and I love the company animals. If your pet is a guest at my home, I will strive to maintain the routines you express to me, including feeding times, exercise, play, and nap times. If I am house sitting- again the focus is on the needs/routines you communicate & I deliver my services, including other house sitting chores ( like watering plants, getting mail, etc) as needed with the upmost respect and care!

A typical day
With dogs we can walk around the nearby schools, play fetch in the large field and also walk to beaver pond. We can play chase in the yard. Dogs have yard access all day long. With cats we tend to be lazy & loaf around together.
