I work full-time during the day (about 6 AM–3:30 PM on weekdays), but I always make time mornings, evenings, and weekends for pet care. I’m also flexible with drop-in visits before, during, or after work depending on location. Even with a full-time job, I’m very intentional about scheduling and making sure pets are cared for consistently and on time. I’ll always communicate clearly and make sure your cat’s routine is followed as closely as possible.

Before caring for a pet, it’s helpful for me to know their normal routine, personality, and any special needs. This includes feeding schedules, walk or litter box routines, medications, and any quirks like shyness, separation anxiety, or triggers (loud noises, strangers, other animals). I also appreciate knowing how your pet behaves on walks or during visits so I can make sure they stay safe and comfortable. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can keep your pet relaxed and happy.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet is all about keeping their routine consistent and making sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’ll take care of feeding, fresh water, and any clean-up, and then spend time with your pet based on their personality—whether that’s playtime, walks, or just quiet company. I always move at your pet’s pace and try to make my visits feel calm and familiar rather than disruptive. I also check that your home is secure, clean up any messes, and make sure your pet is comfortable before I leave. I pay close attention to behavior and will always communicate if anything seems off. You’ll receive regular updates and photos after each visit. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

Hi! My name is Kate, and I'm a lifelong animal lover based in San Diego. I work full-time as an account manager and have always enjoyed spending my free time with pets. As a former Division I athlete, I'm active, responsible, and love getting outside for walks, hikes, and playtime. Whether your dog prefers a long walk, a trip to the park, or relaxing at home, I'm happy to match their energy and routine. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and updates while you're away.
