Hi, I’m Katie! I grew up in a household where we always had pets (mostly dogs and cats, but also included rabbits and guinea pigs), normally at my unrelenting request, which meant I took part in the responsibilities required from a young age. I currently have one senior Himalayan cat.

As long as there's a Wi-fi password, I can work my regular day job while providing your pet company throughout the day. I always appreciate taking breaks with your pets to play or get outside for some fresh air, it's mutually beneficial! I like to ensure your pet feels as comfortable as possible in their regular routine, so the more information you can provide on feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, etc. the better. I'll provide updates and photos your pets as regularly as you'd like. There's no such thing as TMI when it comes to good communication between us, as it ensures a level of comfort for you, me, and your pet(s)!

Finnegan absolutely loved his walks with Kathleen and she was so wonderful to communicate with. I was in a bit of a situation having torn my Achilles on a solo road trip with Finn trip when I was in Saint John. I was stuck for a few days waiting for a friend to come drive us home and wasn’t able to take Finn out for a walk as I was on crutches. I reached out to Kathleen and she was prompt with her response and was able to find some time to help us out. Finn came back smiling and happy both times! If I was in Saint John, I’d definitely have Kathleen look after Finn again. Thank you again for all your help and the great pics of Finn too :)

Schedule
I work remotely Monday - Friday so I do have some flexibility throughout the day. I’m a big morning person, so if you’re looking for something early, don’t hesitate to ask!

- If there are any specific requests for your pet(s), please let me know either in their profile or during the meet and greet (these are necessary prior to the first booking so we can meet in person and ensure we are both a good fit for each other)! I've dealt with a variety of animals and their specific needs and can be quite flexible, I just want to provide your pet(s) with the love and care they require and deserve :). Please note I am on a hiatus for overnight stays longer than 2 nights, but am available for "day-sits" where I do not stay the night. Please advise ahead of time if your pet requires constant care (ie: cannot be left alone for any period of time 4 hours or less), as this will increase fees to accurately reflect the level of care required.
