I’m currently working a full time job at a veterinary hospital and work 40 hours a week. Around this, I am available for petsitting in your home, and available to do multiple drop in visits during the day.

A typical day
I will do nearly anything you ask of me. If your pet needs time to play, I will play. If we need monitored treat puzzle time, I will gladly sit with your baby. I love one on one time with pets. If they need long walks, I will happily accommodate. If the pet needs work on training, I can help with this too. I only work with positive reinforcement methods. I am Veterinary CPR Certified, Fear Free Certified, and have taken some dog training courses. I will treat your babies as if they are my own. I can work with reactive dogs. I am able to attempt to perform nail trims if the pet will let me. I can administer medications, oral and injectable. I am able to assist with special needs pets. I have 9+ years of Veterinary Assisting in General Practice, Surgery, Emergency, and Critical Care Medicine. I can decipher what is a true emergency. I have strong communication skills and will communicate everything with you.

Katie was great with our 2 cats. Our 1 cat has asthma and needed his inhaler and oral medication administered twice a day while we were gone. She was able to easily help with this due to her years working as a vet assistant. She was responsive, sent great photos and updates on the cats and will be hiring her again for future trips.
