I've always had a deep love for animals, and over the past several years I've cared for many different pets with a wide range of personalities, ages, and needs. Through this experience, I've developed strong pet care skills, including basic training knowledge and an understanding of animal behavior gained through my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. My goal is always to provide pets and their families with a safe, positive, and stress-free experience. I grew up with both dogs and cats and was responsible for their daily care. I also volunteered at animal shelters, where I gained experience working with animals of different temperaments, administering medications, and caring for pets with special needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or requires extra attention, I am comfortable adapting to their individual needs. I have experience with a variety of breeds and personalities, and I take pride in building trust and creating a fun, loving environment for every animal in my care. Since I don't currently have a pet of my own, I truly enjoy the opportunity to spend time with animals and do work that I genuinely love. I also have a reliable vehicle and can assist with transportation to appointments, daycare, grooming, or other pet-related needs if required. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and providing the same level of care and attention that I would want for my own furry family members.

Amazing sitter! I had such a stressful day ahead of me including an appointment I absolutely could not miss. I was very nervous to leave my service animal with someone as she has severe separation anxiety and normally resorts to self harm due to past trauma leading to this separation anxiety. She is glued to me at all times and usually needs a hand physically on her in order to regulate I had to wait for a wait and save uber outside her home and thought for sure I would hear crying from inside shortly after I stepped out but I heard nothing like that and instead got adorable pictures of my senior high needs pup shortly after enjoying Katherine’s fenced in backyard. She looked so calm! When I got back my dog got super energetic when I first walked in but very shortly returned to a calm energy level and didn’t have any issues at all! I am amazed! While communicating with Katherine leading up to meeting, I checked in multiple times as I was very nervous despite all the wonderful reviews on her page because of the level of my dog’s needs/anxiety. I gave a full list of my dog’s needs/tips on how to care for her twice and both times she read through it fully and reassured me that she had the skills and genuine interest in keeping my dog regulated and making sure she had a chill hangout while I dealt with what I needed to while I was in town. I would absolutely recommend Katherine to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and knowledgeable person sitter who is committed to creating a safe place for your pet 10/10
Katherine has formed such a great relationship with my anxious dog and was able to take great care of him while I was away!
Katherine gave our pup excellent care and sent me lots of photos. She is one of the best dog carers we have found on Rover.
Katherine's care and keeping of our little and senior and reactive dog Charlie is superb. Charlie is a lovely dog IF he trusts you and he trusts Katherine so much. She is attentive and kind. Our trip was made carefree because she was there looking after our precious little guy and our home. I cannot say enough good things about Katherine.
Katherine gave Ginger great care and sent reports and photos throughout the day. The location was perfect for the hot sunny day. Katherine has a fenced backyard with shade and the neighborhood has many shade trees along the sidewalks. She took Ginger for walk to the nearby park as well.
Katherine has been doing an amazing job working with my reactive, special-needs dog through weekly walks. I absolutely trust her to walk him and care for him!

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time and from home, and I have a very flexible schedule. Chances are that if you reach me on time and I’m not booked already, I can be there.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m currently living in a townhouse with a fenced backyard, and I do have a roommate who is really good with pets, and to be mindful of her I can't take aggresive dogs at my home. While your pets are with me I always make sure they’re safe and they have everything they need including food & water, attention, pets, and play time.
A typical day
I will make sure your pet has the best time while they're with me, we will play, go for walks, and they will get lots of pets and love.
