Hi there! Having worked as a veterinary assistant, I bring plenty of hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, and other pets. I’ve also been a lifelong cat and dog owner, so I understand the daily care and attention they need. At the moment, my own cats are back home with my family (my partner is allergic), so I’d be glad to help with yours. I can take care of everything from feeding and cleaning to giving medications and injections if needed, as well as playtime and company. I’m reliable, attentive, and flexible, and I take looking after pets seriously.

Safety, trust & environment
When visiting your home, I make sure your cat’s routine is followed closely and their environment is kept clean and safe. I’ll refresh food and water, clean litter trays thoroughly, and check on their overall wellbeing each visit. I’m careful with doors/windows (especially for indoor cats) and will keep you updated with messages or photos if you’d like.

We were really pleased with our cat sitter's service overall and would recommend her with a few things to keep in mind. From the very start, she made a great impression. She came to meet us before we left, listened carefully to all our instructions, and was warm and friendly throughout. During the three days she visited, she was always punctual, spent a good half hour each time, put food out for both cats as instructed, topped up the water, and kept the litter tray clean. She also checked in with us a couple of times while we were away, which we really appreciated. The one thing that let the experience down slightly was that she only spotted one of our two cats during the last two visits. We understand that cats can hide, and this isn't always within a sitter's control. However, that cat had no human interaction for days and was noticeably anxious when we returned home. Overall, a reliable, caring, and communicative sitter who took her responsibilities seriously.
Katherine is such a kind and attentive cat sitter! My odie needs insulin injections and blood glucose readings by pricking his ear, and Katherine gave that extra effort to help him feel calm and at ease, and ensured I too was reassured! She was incredibly organised and updated me along the way. Thank you Katherine!
Katherine was a real help taking care of my boys, providing regular updates at meal times and taking care of the litter trays, evem drawing my curtains at night. Would highly recommend -- came home to some happy kitties!

Schedule
I am available for visits before 9 am in the morning, during lunch time, and after 6pm in the evening on most days. I’m fairly flexible and can usually stop by during work hours, depending on my availability that week.

- Please let me know your cat’s routine, feeding schedule, and any specific behaviours or quirks (e.g. shy, indoor/outdoor, food preferences). Also flag any medical needs or medications, and anything I should watch out for to keep them comfortable and safe.
