Very experienced dog trainer and behaviourist, with large rescue organisation for over 10 years. Avid dog lover, and previous dog mum to a sassy Daxi called Tilly. Countryside living in Cumbria, with both walks on the doorstep, and the fells a short drive away for those more adventurous paws! Dog got a few 'quirks'? Rest assured, ive seen em all! Positive training methods and vibes all the way! :)

Booked with Kat last minute but she was great. Max had a lovely time on his holiday with her. He is looking forward to the next time.
Lucy has had a full week with kat , and we went away knowing that she was in good hands. We left her with a happy waggy tail and came back to a happy waggy tail. Thank you kat. Lucy is looking forward to her next stay later on in the year x
Excellent, would highly recommend! We came to the lakes for a few days for our daughter’s wedding and to take away a bit of the pressure our two went for an overnight stay with Kat. They came back very happy and not stressed in the slightest. Kat sent photos showing them chilled, snoozing and very settled which made us know we had made the right choice. Great communication throughout from start to finish (not so much from me 😂 sorry Kat!). To conclude, I would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lucy was very happy when I picked her up from kat. We received some lovely photos and updates from the walks shes been on. We had a lovely break knowing that Lucy was in good hands with kat. We've already booked her in again for another stay. Thank you kat.
The dogs were very happy with Kat and had such a good time. It helped because we were invited for an initial visit to her house so that they were familiar with their holiday home. Kat picked them up spot on time and dropped them off again which was so helpful. She sent photos of them from her home and on their walks. Kat is clearly very experienced, very professional but also just lovely and easy with me and the dogs. Nothing was too much trouble.
Lucy's been with kat this afternoon and she was really happy . I received plenty photos and information about lucy toilet breaks and a map of where they'd been. Thank you kat I no she's very happy in your care.

Schedule
I am currently on a career break, so the world is my oyster at the moment. I enjoy getting out and about most days, so having a pooch to join me would be great! I understand every dog is different, so am able to adapt to each individual in order to meet both their, and your needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a mature garden, which is full of lots of smells and room for adventures. the majority of it is enclosed, with some small gaps beneath some decking- however, I am more than happy to keep your pooch on a long line, and supervised at all times. I have multiple rooms, if your dog requires separating at certain times etc. I have space for crates etc. I am happy to accommodate your dog on the furniture, or on the bed if this makes them feel more at ease. I have access to a woodland which is not open to the public, so if your dog requires quieter walks away from the public, or other dogs, this can be accommodated easily.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs both mentally and physically. Whatever they require to meet their needs. I have access to a variety of walks, and have a vast experience in tailoring enrichment activities to suit your dog.
