You want to know they'll be safe, happy, and treated like family while you're away, and you don't want to spend your whole day wondering how they're doing. ⠀ That's where I come in! ⠀ I raised and trained my own dog from a tiny puppy all the way to crossing the rainbow bridge, and it was the best experience of my life. I also went through Sirius Puppy Training, so I know how to work with dogs using positive, reward-based methods that help them feel confident and comfortable with me. ⠀ Got a dog with energy to burn? I know all the best local spots, like Riverfront, Laguna, Taylor Mountain, and Spring Lake, and I love taking pups out to explore. I bring along games to keep their brains busy too. You'll come home to one happy, tired dog. ⠀ Got a senior who likes to take it slow? We'll stroll the neighborhood at whatever pace feels good to them. ⠀ Does your pet need meds or a little extra TLC? I've handled complicated medication routines for dogs in treatment, so you can trust me to follow your instructions to the letter. ⠀ Have a cat? I'm a cat person too! I'm happy to stop by for feedings, litter changes, and some good company. ⠀ You'll get photos and a quick update every visit, so you'll always know how your pet is doing. And since my schedule's flexible, last-minute requests, early mornings, and evenings are no problem. ⠀ I'd love to meet you and your furry family member! 🐈🐕

In My Home: I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. I maintain a calm, safe environment and follow your established routines as closely as possible—from feeding schedules to playtime preferences. For dogs, I provide plenty of exercise through walks or hikes suited to their energy level, and I'm always attentive to their comfort and body language. I keep pets secure with leashed walks, and I'm vigilant about potential hazards both indoors and on trails. For pets on medication or special diets, I follow instructions carefully and keep detailed notes. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. Since I work from home, the pet is with me 24/7, with only short breaks if I need to go do an errand - in which case we use a crate. In Your Home: I respect your home as I would my own. I follow all your instructions for feeding, medication, routines, and house rules. I keep things tidy, secure doors and windows, and ensure your pet stays safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, or adjust lighting to give your home a lived-in feel while you're away. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates and am always available if questions come up. My goal is to make the transition seamless for both you and your pet.

Katherine has been amazing over the years with my hound dog, and my mom's dauchaunds. She is very loving and attentive, has helped with administering medicines when needed, and helped us out on short notice. For a walker or sitter she can't be topped, my dog loves seeing her.

Schedule
I work from home as a freelancer and can accommodate most requests on weekdays, sometimes I can also pick up work on weekends. I walk everyday, rain or shine and love to bring happy dogs on the trail!
