15 year old son loves dogs!
My 15 year old son would like a dog someday, so my husband and I are helping him gain the skills by having him help us do dog sitting! He will do the main care (feeding, walking, cleanup, playing) and we parents will help make sure he makes great decisions. He has volunteered at a local petting farm in the past, and is patient with all creatures. Animals seem to be drawn to him! Our daughter loves helping too, especially walking the smaller dogs. We are excited to play with and love on your dog!

Katherine and her family were wonderful with my dog! Super responsive and communicative. It looks like my pup had a wonderful time with them.
She did a great job communicating and it seemed like a loving environment for pets.
This was our first time using Rover and Katherine was amazingly patient when answering all my questions about what we should expect. Unfortunately during the stay, one of our dogs had a difficult time adjusting, but Katherine did everything she could to ease her anxiety and make her comfortable. By the end of the weekend, there was quite a bit of improvement for Jessie. They sent pics of them and the dogs having fun which I thoroughly enjoyed.
First time Rover user, and couldn’t have had a better experience with Katherine and her family. Easy to work with, provided updates throughout the stay, and sounds like her family had a great time with our dog Bella. She definitely got the one on one attention we were hoping for, opposed to taking her to the dog kennel/boarding. Would definitely bring Bella back to her again, and recommend to anyone else!
It's obvious that Ladybug and Katherine's family have bonded! When I dropped her off, she ran right into their arms ❤️ thanks again!
Second time Katherine took fantastic care for Maggie. We are very pleased with them because the entire family is excited and helps caring for Maggie. We love them. Thank you!!!

Schedule
We are mainly available on weekends (Fri-Sun) during the school year, and during breaks or summer vacation. We would be happy to try to work with someone who has special requests.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Dogs will always be on a leash when outside unless in a fenced space. We don’t have a fenced yard but would be happy to take the dog to a dog park or on leashed walks and potty breaks as frequently as needed. While we prefer to crate dogs while we are gone or sleeping, we can discuss other arrangements for well-trained dogs. Tell us what you do at home and we can try to accommodate!
A typical day
We go on walks and explore our neighborhood. We also will go to the dog park if the dog likes doing that, and will do car rides while doing routine activities like picking up kids from school. We will not leave you pet alone in the car or outside if we are not home.
