Hi there! Animals are a not a job for me, they are a lifelong passion. Growing up in a large, extended family with both dogs and cats, I learned from a very young age how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and give them the love they deserve. I truly adore animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. When I’m not pet sitting, you can usually find me exploring local hiking trails or taking long walks on the beach. I love keeping active dogs happy, exercised, and thoroughly entertained!

Strict Safety Protocols: Whether we are hanging out inside or out on a beach walk, your pet's safety comes first. I am always vigilant about secure leashing, double-checking that doors and gates are locked securely, and keeping a watchful eye out for potential hazards. Maintaining Their Comfort Zone: Dogs and cats are happiest when their routines don't change. I closely follow your specific instructions for feeding times, medication schedules, and bedtime rituals so your pet feels secure and stress-free in their own environment. Respecting Your Space: I treat your home with the utmost respect. I keep common areas clean, follow all house rules, and ensure your property is safe and locked up tight whenever I step out. Transparent Communication: You will never have to wonder how things are going. I send regular, detailed updates alongside plenty of photos and videos so you can relax knowing your furry friend is safe, happy, and thriving. I care for every home with the respect of a grateful guest, and every pet with the love and vigilance of a protective family member.

Katherine was so amazing with our elderly Pug for his first time with a sitter. Im so happy we picked Kat for his new friend! She went above and beyond with his care including snuggles, outside time, and plenty of photos to show us he was having a good time. When we are vacationing in the area we will definitely reach out again! Truly, above and beyond any and all expectation.
Some people just have an innate connection to the natural world, and that is so Katherine. She notices subtle animal behaviors that I totally miss and seems to know intuitively when to give animals space or comfort. (Her abilities extend to plants, too: she's a talented herbalist and grows a spectacular garden. Sometimes I think she's talking directly to Mother Nature!) Katherine has so much care and awareness; I've watched her put a high-strung, anxious horse at complete ease just by matching its energy, and have seen her adopt friends' dogs into her life, with them quickly becoming close companions. If you want a sitter who is deeply observant, naturally grounded, and profoundly respectful (plus just an all around amazing human!), look no further.
Katherine is simply wonderful. She is trustworthy, honest, and communicative. What's more, she just has a way with the natural world, both with plants and animals. I've entrusted her with the care of my 75 lb Rottweiler on numerous occasions, and she's quickly become my dog's third favorite person in the world after my wife and me. You can 100% trust her with both the wellbeing of your pet and your home.

Schedule
I currently work remotely, full-time and can take breaks throughout the day. I have the most availability from 2pm on for long walks or early in the AM before 9am, but can do short walks throughout the day.
