Katie’s Kompanions!
I have been around dogs my entire life, and became an official dog mom in 2010 to Zoey, an English Bulldog. We lost her to cancer at age 14 in April 2024, and in late September our amazing Boxer Abby joined the family. I have cared for friends’ dogs multiple times throughout the years, and have experience caring for dogs of various ages. We have had dogs stay for just one or two nights, and up to 1-2 weeks at a time, so we are flexible in meeting your needs! I also have experience with giving medications as needed!

Everything about this experience was wonderful. They exceeded every expectation I had. I have never felt so at ease about leaving my fur baby for vacation!
Katie did such a great job watching Ellie while we were away. She was very considerate about making sure she had all the information about Ellie to make her stay as comfortable as possible. She also sent some many great pictures/videos and updates to put us at ease that she was being well taken care of.
Katie is an amazing pet sitter. She was so attentive, kind and interactive with my dog. My dog had great walks and fun playing with her dog. I will use her services in the future.
Katie is nothing short of phenomenal! She is fun, attentive and communicates very well. I couldn’t have asked for better care for my little Yorkie. I will definitely book with her again!
I will forever be grateful to Katie. While I was giving birth, she watched my dog as normal, but it was able to incorporate, baby blanket and baby crying to help introduce our new daughter to him. I am so blessed that we found her as she is a wonderful human mom and dog watcher. You cannot go wrong with Katie.
This family is such a breath of fresh air. Katherine took our sweet Marley in like she was her own. She sent plenty of pictures and videos and I knew she was in excellent care. We are so thankful to have found her!

Schedule
As a stay at home mom to two little boys, ages 7 and 6 my schedule is very flexible! My husband Sy works in the oil field in North Dakota and is gone 20days at a time, and then home for 10. I am home most hours of the day, with the exception of day-to-day errands such as going to this grocery store, kid drop off and pick ups, and other various appointments! I also substitute teach at my boys elementary school during the weeks when my husband is home from his work rotations! So rest assured, if I’m subbing he is in the home! I am available for boarding 7 days a week.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a very large backyard that is completely fenced in! We spend a lot of time outside as will your dog. I love going for walks or jogs when it’s not too hot and would love to take out your dog with me when I do! Our dog Abby is very social and loves playing with other dogs, but also reads other dogs very well so if you have laid back dog who doesn’t want to play or have her in their space, she picks that up and will figure out they’re not interested! We strive to emulate as much of a “home away from home experience”, as possible and we will do our best to keep your dog on the same schedule they are accustomed to at home. Your dog will be snuggled and loved as if they were a member of our own family! I have a spare crate if your dog is crate trained, as well as a cozy nook area with views of the back, or a quiet room with extra dog beds if they do best tucked in to a quiet space when we are out of the home. If your dog does best having full access to the living room when we are gone, we can do that too! Additionally, your dog is welcome to hang out on the couch or on a bed for naps and bedtime! I so look forward to snuggling your fur baby and giving them a “home away from home” experience. We also feel that is it important to share that our youngest son, Max is non-verbal autistic. Max is the sweetest, quietest little boy who does extremely well with dogs who come into our home. And in all honesty, he is so indifferent and could care less lol 💕 he loves our Abby and just walks around dogs who have stayed with us. A typical day
My boxer Abby provides plenty of entertainment and interaction, but I also love going for walks and jogs! My oldest son loves dogs and is there for all the snuggles and play time too!
