Treat Your Pet Like My Own
I’ve taken care of pets all my adult life. Throughout the years I’ve had 3 large mixed breed dogs all adopted from shelters. My 14 year old lab mix passed away in 2025. Boarding dogs is my way of spending time with dogs without rushing myself into adopting too soon. I will welcome your potty trained dog into my home. We have a nice sized , fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks.

Katherine did an excellent job of taking care of my Winnie, a large, athletic dog who craves attention from people. Katherine kept her engaged, playing games with her and throwing the ball in the backyard. She clearly has a lot of experience with dogs. Winnie came home a very happy pup.
Ginger looked like she felt right at home at Katherine's. Katherine is very caring, capable and understanding. And I was very comfortable leaving Ginger in her charge. Thank you, Katherine!
Katie took care of her own sweet dog, Frankie for many years with attention and consideration for all his needs. Lots of walks and day trips! As he aged she was able to modify her schedule and home to take care of all his needs. Katie's home is well set up for pet sitting with lots of warm sunny windows and an excellent yard (and neighborhood).

Schedule
I’m currently working part time . I am off in the summer. When I work it is no longer then 4-5 hours (usually much shorter) so I can be home for your dog’s bathroom breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
I welcome all house trained, non destructive dogs into my home. I have a fenced yard and can crate your dog if that is what your dog is used to . I don’t have a crate but you would be welcome to bring one over.
A typical day
The backyard provides a fun natural environment. I’m often working in the garden and dogs love being outside with me—there’s so much to do and see!
