I am a PhD student & do delivery driving at Fosse Park, Leicester so I must be given ample time to make sure I ask for shorter shifts in order to care properly for your pet if required. I am very flexible with my schedule. I have a car & my housemate is a volunteer at a charity rescue shelter so she is always a call away if I need assistance! (Which I don’t anticipate but it’s helpful to have!)

Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in Great Glen with my housemate’s small rescue Jack Russell X miniature pincher who can be a little stand offish. We recently rescued a cat and she’s very nervous so I am not offering boarding at this time. I have a garden and live next to a dog park and loads of fields with footpaths.
Information Katherine S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if you’d rather them on-lead or needing to walk in areas that will not over-stimulate them. Let me know if there’s anywhere you’d rather them not go or if there are any triggers to avoid!
A typical day
Walks in the forest or beach (when I reside in Hampshire/Dorset), pub gardens and parks, I like to make sure they get loads of smells and stimulation from visiting new and exciting places and give lots of treats (if diet allows!)
Location
Oadby, United Kingdom
Long walks, cuddles & happy tails
Pet care experience
I’m an animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals. I live in Great Glen, near Oadby (South Leicester). I’ve volunteered at a dog shelter, walking dogs and helping with kennel care, and I’ve grown up surrounded by pets and farm animals in the New Forest. I have experience with everything from puppies and kittens to older dogs and shy or rescue animals. I can administer medication, manage safe off-lead time, and always prioritise your pet’s safety and comfort. I’ve also house-sat for family, friends, neighbours, and through this app. Living in the countryside has given me plenty of opportunities to take dogs on long walks, explore safe open spaces, and socialise them in new environments. I have a car, so I can travel to your home for walks or sitting. Most of all, I aim to make sure your pets are happy, active, and cared for, while sharing plenty of cuddles and fun along the way!

Reviews
Katy is a sweetheart and has this inherent gift for connecting with cats . I couldn’t recommend enough .

As always, Dylan had a great time with Katie. She understands his needs and this helps me have the confidence to leave him for the weekend.

Katie is someone we use regularly for Dylan, he loves that she is relaxed and will let him lead the way.

Katie has been a superstar with Dylan. He likes to be fussed and walked and he had that in abundance. He’s a sensitive soul and Katie understands this. Would highly recommend.
