I’ve been a dog owner myself my entire life including a variety of breeds from small (chihuahuas and morkies) to large (Irish wolfhounds). Currently my husband and I have 5 rescued babies that are mixes of pit bulls and a hound. I have often assisted friends and neighbors with their fur family members including walks, overnight stays and popping in to play/feed/let out.

My dogs are my family and have open reign to the house. However, I understand some limitations exist given every families’ individual needs and the needs of their fur babies. I’m comfortable crating dogs if that is the preference of the family before I depart. My dogs are given the occasional treat including some homemade snacks like doggie ice cream. I am happy to share if the family is looking to treat their pup, given the dog’s diet allows.

Katie is so awesome with our dogs! She treats them as if they were her own. Makes traveling so much more stress free.
Once again Katie was awesome with our 2 fur babies. Her focus is completely on them and it shows when we get back and they are still so happy. All the pictures she shares they always have doggie smiles on there faces. And her reports on how they are behaving are always positive. Hopefully will see Katie during our next travel.
This is the second time Katie has watched our dog for long weekend and also our puppy. She is so loving towards the dogs, it's very calming to know they are in such good hands when we travel.

All I need to do is say Katie is coming and my Labrador goes crazy wild. Sitting by the door crying until she arrives, running around my dining room table! OMG! He loves her and do drop. She speaks to him in a calming manner and when he comes home to me he’s ready for a good nap!! Great person , knowledgeable, kind and fabulous with with my boy Rocco. I am so very happy to have found her… and she lives nearby!! Woohoo!!

Schedule
I’m working full time and my hours are typically 7:30-4:00. I work 3 days a week in the office T-Th with Monday and Friday at home. Most weekends I can make myself available with advance notice. If you live close by and would prefer a lunchtime walk/check-in I can work with you to arrange as I do work from home a few days a week.
