Drop In's/Walks: I will adhere to their feeding, exercise, potty break, and medication schedules. I ensure they receive the same level of care and attention they are accustomed to. For aggressive dogs, I follow your established protocols for walks and handling. I am extremely careful about securing entry and exit points and will avoid any situations where your dog might encounter triggers, such as other dogs or unfamiliar people, unless specifically instructed and it's part of their management plan. I prioritize solitary walks and maintain a safe distance from others. When caring for puppies in your home, I reinforce your training efforts with positive reinforcement, ensure frequent potty breaks to prevent accidents, and engage them in appropriate play to burn energy. For senior pets in their own home, I ensure their comfort, administer medications as needed, assist with mobility if required, and monitor for any signs of discomfort or changes in health. In all settings, clear and consistent communication with you is key. I want to understand your pet's nuances, triggers, and preferences to provide the safest and most enriching care possible. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your unique pet is in capable and caring hands

Information Katherine S. would like to know about your pet

To make sure I can give the best possible care while you're away, I have a few questions about their routine and needs. Dietary (food, water, and medication), Potty breaks (times), walks (time/duration), triggers (cars, bikes, trucks, people, other animals) and what makes them happy!

A typical day

Park Visits (in your neighborhood): A chance for sniffing, exploring new smells, and maybe a gentle game of fetch if allowed and the dog enjoys it. Nature Walks: Exploring trails (if safe and permitted) can be enriching and provide different sensory experiences. Neighborhood Strolls: Regular walks are essential for exercise and mental stimulation. Varying the route can keep things interesting. Bubbles: Many dogs love chasing and trying to catch bubbles! Lick Mats: Helps calm dogs and use those sensory skills! Outward Hound Games: These are dog games that provide mental stimulation. I have some I can provide if you do not have them or care to try!

Katherine was wonderful with our dog! She always played with him during her visits, kept us in the loop with updates and pictures, was on time, and even made room for another request. I’d definitely recommend her.

Katherine was very friendly and my dog loved her immediately! She took her for a 34 minute walk and covered 1.5 miles! She tired my Labrador retriever out which is no easy task! Thank you Katherine!

Katherine was amazing! She won the heart of our grumpy rescue pup and took excellent care of our fur babies while we were away for a week. She was communicative, attentive, and cared for our pups like they were her own
