Hi, I’m Kate. An animal lover, artist and NH native. In 2015 I adopted 12 year old Maroney an Alaskan Husky, Iditarod veteran and my four legged soul mate. We shared several wonderful years together. I have since welcomed the dogs of neighbors and friends to stay with me- from daily walks to week long vacations. I think Ingrid, Rudy, Roman, Otto, Timber and Tennessee would tell you they felt loved and well cared for during their stay with me…probably even a bit spoiled. My home is currently without any pets and I would love the opportunity to look after your beloved dog while you are away. I’m here to help maintain your pup’s routine, there by easing their anxiety, while providing exercise, their favorite activities and plenty of love. I completely understand how stressful it can be to leave your pup and I am committed to providing a safe environment for your beloved family member. It is my hope that you can have a stress and worry free day, knowing that your pup will be in good hands and treated as if they are my own. Regular check ins are more than welcome…anything to bring you peace of mind. Although my yard is not fenced, it has a run, which allows full access to the yard as well as a fenced outdoor kennel. I work from home which allows me the flexibility for frequent walks around my quiet neighborhood and local parks. I hope to accommodate the activity level that your pup prefers. Having cared for a senior/ special needs dog for several years, I have some experience administering medication, patience with picky eaters and total flexibility to meet their individual needs. Katherine was amazing! She made us feel so at ease of leaving our baby boy. He couldn’t have gotten better care by anybody else. She only takes one dog at a time so they get all of the attention. Thank you so much for being so wonderful and kind and helping us out last minute!! :)
I can't say enough good things about Katherine! My dog Bridgette loved her from the first time they met at a meet and greet; I could tell immediately that they would get along and have a good connection. Katherine was incredibly responsible and asked great questions about Bridgette's care and schedule. I received regular updates and photos during my trip, and Bridgette always looked happy in all her pics. I was away for a week, and I did not worry once about how Bridgette was doing - I knew I could trust Katherine to keep her happy and safe. At pick-up, it was clear that Bridgette was sad to be leaving, and she kept running back to Katherine to say good-bye! I will absolutely book with Katherine again for future trips!

kat was amazing! she sent pics of the day, and it was clear how much she truly cared about roo’s needs. she’s attentive and only watches one dog at a time, which really shows the level of care and attention she provides. i’m so grateful for such a wonderful experience. thank you! i highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their fur baby.
