I currently home school my kids and am looking for something that can bring in some additional income while allowing me to still take my kids to all of their activities.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm situationally aware when walking your dog. I keep an eye out for things that could be a threat (like a loose dog) and avoid the situation.
Information Katherine R. would like to know about your pet
I’m fully comfortable with high-energy, working, and herding breeds — my own pack includes a German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, and two Australian Cattle Dogs, so I know how to channel that drive into fun, safe exercise. What I’d love to know ahead of time: Your dog’s energy level, daily routine, and favorite activities (toys, games, or commands they love) Any behavioral quirks, fears, or triggers (e.g., reactive to certain sounds, separation anxiety, food guarding) Medical needs, medications, allergies, or special diet instructions How your dog typically does with other dogs — I prefer pups that are friendly or at least tolerant with other dogs, since I have my own pack and may walk multiple friendly dogs together when it’s a good fit I don’t mind bouncy, zoomie-loving dogs at all — the more energy, the better! I just ask that they generally get along with other dogs so everyone stays safe and happy. During our meet & greet we can chat about all of this and make sure it’s a great match for your pup. I’m background-checked, reliable, and treat every dog like one of my own. Looking forward to meeting you and your best friend!
A typical day
A typical walk with me starts with a happy greeting and quick assessment of your dog’s energy level that day. I always begin with some loose-leash walking and sniffing time to let them decompress and use their nose (mental stimulation is just as important as running around!). For high-energy dogs like my own, I incorporate plenty of physical exercise — brisk paced walks, short bursts of jogging and walking. I mix in mental challenges too: simple obedience cues with praise, or puzzle-like sniff work along trails. Smaller or calmer dogs get gentle, enriching strolls with lots of pets, positive reinforcement, and extra sniffing breaks. Every walk ends with cool-down time, fresh water, and a calm return home. I send detailed Rover Card updates with photos so you can see exactly how much fun (and tired!) your pup had. My own pack of 6 keeps me experienced at reading dogs quickly and adjusting on the spot — whether they need more play or a chill sniffari. Your dog will come back happy, exercised, and mentally satisfied every single time.

Pet care experience
🐾 Hi! I'm Katherine, a lifelong dog lover and proud Norco resident who's been sharing my life with dogs for the last 18 years. I currently have a pack of 6 dogs at home — including a Terrier, a Chihuahua, a German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, and two Australian Cattle Dogs — so I know exactly what it takes to keep high-energy, herding, and working breeds happy, exercised, and mentally stimulated. Whether your pup is a tiny lap dog who just needs gentle sniff-and-stroll time or a bouncy, zoomie-loving bigger dog I'd love to walk your dog. I genuinely can't walk past a dog without stopping to say hi and give pets — that's how much I love them! My own dogs keep me on my toes every single day, and I've learned the best routines, games, and tricks to tire them out safely while keeping walks fun and stress-free. What you can expect from me: Reliable, on-time walks tailored to your dog's energy level and personality Plenty of play, positive reinforcement, and mental stimulation (fetch, tug, sniff breaks — whatever your dog loves!) Detailed Rover Card updates with photos and notes after every walk so you know exactly how your best friend is doing Safe, attentive handling — I've managed multi-dog households and everything from shy seniors to hyper adolescents I'm fully background-checked through Rover and ready to treat your dog like one of my own. Whether you're at work, traveling, or just need a consistent walker who truly gets dogs, I'd love to become part of your pup's routine right here in Norco. Let's get your dog wagging — drop me a message and we'll set up a quick meet & greet!
