big big dog person!
I’ve been a “dog person” my whole life. Growing up, my family always had at least two labs in the house, and we fostered puppies for several years. Caring for dogs was a big part of my childhood and something I’ve always loved. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in many areas of pet care. As a kid and teen, I ran a small dog-walking business in my neighborhood. In college, I took care of my professor’s dogs, and later cared for my neighbor’s dog in my first New York apartment. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and abilities, and have experience with walking, house sitting, in-home care, boarding, and raising dogs. (Also, my mother currently works for a dog food company - we are big dog people). I truly love caring for dogs and treat each one with patience, attention, and respect. I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog and provide them with safe, reliable, and loving care.

Schedule
I live and work in Manhattan, with both my office and my apartment being located near the flatiron building. I currently work full time on a hybrid schedule. On in-office days (typically two flexible days per week), I’m able to take dogs out for a quick walk or potty break every 3–4 hours. As I mentioned, because I live relatively close to my office, I am able to more frequently let out your dogs if they are staying with me. On weekends, I’m generally very flexible and available, with no recurring commitments. I love spending time with dogs and am happy to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs.

I live near Madison Square Park, which offers great green space and a dog run, perfect for walks and playtime. I’m also close to the East River Greenway, making it easy to enjoy longer, uninterrupted walks along the water. My home is dog friendly, clean, safe, and non-smoking. I live with one roommate who also loves dogs, and there are no children or other pets in the home. I’m also very comfortable visiting your apartment to take your dog out, spend quality time with them during the day or evening, and make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve while you’re away. I live an active, healthy lifestyle and regularly go on long walks, including trips to Central Park on the weekends. When possible, I love incorporating dogs into my day-to-day activities and errands so they get plenty of companionship and exercise.
A typical day
We can go on runs, walks, go to new parks, see new places (and smell new smells!). I am very active and would love to take your pup with me wherever I go :)
