I have always believed that a house isn’t a home without the unconditional love of a dog. Throughout my life, my happiest moments have been defined by furry family members greeting me at the door with wet noses, endless kisses, and wagging tails. Yet, like any devoted pet parent, I know the familiar pang of guilt and anxiety that comes with walking out the door—whether it’s just for a quick daily errand, a long day at work, or a much-needed vacation. Our pets thrive on routine, familiarity, and love. Leaving them behind is often the hardest part of being a pet owner. Now that I am retired, I have dedicated my time and passion to help other dog lovers minimize or even solve this dilemma. Schedule
I cannot imagine a more rewarding way to spend my retirement than caring for your beloved pups and kitties. To ensure the best possible care, I always request an initial meet-and-greet with you and your pet(s), ideally in their own comfortable environment. Once we establish that we are a great fit, we can begin scheduling regular visits. Over time, as your pet becomes completely comfortable with me, my home will also be open to them for overnight stays and day care should the need arise.

I look forward to learning your specific routines to keep your pets safe and sound. Their time with me will be fully tailored to whatever your fur baby loves most—whether that means playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, enjoying mealtime, or taking trips to the park. Regardless of whether I am walking your dog or dropping in to check on your kitty, safety is always my top priority.
A typical day
The time your pet spends with me is entirely customized to their unique routine, interests, and personality. By collaborating closely with you and spending true quality time with your fur baby(s), I quickly learn their specific needs and preferences. This ensures they always feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. If you are interested in Boarding or Daycare in my home, I ask that we schedule a meet-and-greet first so we can all get to know each other. Planning this in advance also opens the door for other services like Dog Walking, Drop-In Visits, and House Sitting. Once we are all familiar with one another, we can seamlessly plan your sweet friend’s home-away-from-home visits!

- To ensure the best possible experience for your pet, I love to learn as much as possible about their unique personality and routines. When it comes to their quirks, habits, and preferences, no detail is too small! Please feel free to share anything and everything about them so I can get to know their wonderful personality before our first meet-and-greet. Great details to share include: • Personality: Do they get along well with other animals and people? • Play Style: Do they like to play games or splash around in the water? • Fears: Do they get frightened by lightning, thunder, or other loud sounds? • Health: Are they fully up-to-date on all of their shots? 🚫 Policy & Booking Restrictions To maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all pets in my care, I am unable to accept guests who: • Exhibit aggressive behavior toward other animals, people, or property • Have excessive or unmanageable barking habits • Frequently dig or have destructive habits • Are not fully housebroken • Are currently sick or a female in season • Are not current on their core vaccinations (Rabies and DHLPP) 🧳 Packing Checklist for Visits Please bring the following items to help your pet feel right at home: • Safety: Leash and collar • Comfort: A favorite toy, bed, blanket, or sweater to help prevent anxiety • Nourishment: Enough food to last the entire duration of their stay • Health: Any necessary medications with clear instructions
