Pet care experience
I have a 1.5 yo rescue pup with behavioral issues - so I've learned to handle a LOT! I've worked and learned from several trainers and the SPCA. I house trained my pup and taught him 40 words (and counting!). I am experienced with crate training, walking in heel, obedience (and fun!) commands. And I am trained to safely use all walking equipment (harness, martingale, prong, e-collar, etc). I firmly believe in 'better safe than sorry' - I will not take any risks with your pup. For cat-owners: I keep my pup on a regular schedule and can responsibly care for your kitty on a consistent schedule. I grew up with cats my entire childhood and have 10+ years cat sitting for my sister as an adult.

Katherine is great with animals! She started watching my dog Frankie when he was just a few months old. He can be a little nervous so she always made sure to give him extra attention to help him feel at ease. She’s also great at checking in, sending updates, and following any special instructions I have. She’s one of the few people I’ve found that have made Frankie feel at home while I’m away.
There’s no doubt in my mind that Kate is an extraordinary dog walker and sitter. Not only is she incredibly patient, kind, and loving to her own dog who often acts like the devil, but I’ve seen her interact with pets that belong to friends on dozens of occasions and she quickly becomes her favorite person. plus she is incredibly communicative and a great photo taker. Just wait for a fun photos of your furry friends and you’ll agree!
Kate has watched my dog Sophie multiple times, and even when she was a puppy! Kate took great care of my girl, sent a lot of updates, and gave Sophie lots of love! Would recommend Kate to anyone who needs a dog walker or sitter!
Kate has watched my dog on many occasion and every time it’s been a stellar experience! She is clearly very experienced with dogs of all sizes and breeds and cares about every dog she walks as if they were her own. I love the photos / updates she provides, how timely and responsible she is, and how flexible she is with her schedule (she’s helped me last minute a few times while I was in a bind!) I know my dog Maisy is in great hands whenever she’s with Kate, and I couldn’t recommend her more!

A typical day
I have an arsenal of physical and mental games to play with your pup! Outdoors, we can go on walks (on or off-leash if preferred), play fetch, explore new sights/sounds/environments, and improve proprioception. Indoors, we can play tug, chase or hide and go seek. We can practice scent games, learn new commands, and other forms of enrichment. And, lots of hugs and cuddles to round it out.

Availability
I work from home and keep my dog on a consistent schedule - the same wakeup and bedtime, 3x potty breaks a day and a 1 hour walk per day. My work calendar is very flexible and I have a car to get around town quick.
