Information Katherine & Mark K. would like to know about your pet
Please fill in the pet care information on the Rover website and let me know what medicine your dog takes for fleas and ticks. My own dog is bathed every 2 weeks and is on topical flea treatment.
A typical day
There is a park close by and a 5-mile shady trail to walk your dog. We typically walk our own dog 3 short walks per day, with one being at least 30 minutes long during the cooler time of the day. We play a lot in the backyard with fetch or whatever your dog wants to do.

Pet care experience
I have always taken care of neighbors' dogs and cats. My family has always had a dog, and I grew up taking care of our family's dogs, cats, and dairy goats. In 2012 we acquired Bud while walking dogs for the local humane society. We now have Dobie who we saved from the pound. I know how much people miss their dogs while vacationing so I will go out of my way to meet their needs and keep them safe. I am a retired teacher, now working part time as a substitute teacher. My husband fills the gap when I do work since he works from home 2 days per week. He also leaves later than I do if he is going into the office. We both like to workout, so active dogs are fine with us! We have a fenced in yard, but will walk your dog on a leash once a day, with lots of outdoor time.
Reviews

Katherine was amazing. This was the first time she watched our dogs. We met her before we went away which I appreciated, this way she got to meet our pups and make sure they got along with her dog. She sent us tons of photos and we appreciate all of the walks our dogs went on with her. We will definitely be using her again in the future!

Kona loves her time with you! Thank you for caring for her like she's your own!

Thank you for always making our girl feel at home and caring for her like one of your own!

Another great experience boarding our Goldendoodle! The sitter is very communicative. We received a lot of photos and videos showing that he was happy, comfortable, and taking walks. He's an anxious dog, so we really appreciate their care and attention!
