The best affordable care for pets!
I have always taken care of neighbors' dogs and cats. My family has always had a dog, and I grew up taking care of our family's dogs, cats, and dairy goats. In 2012 we acquired Bud while walking dogs for the local humane society. We now have Dobie who we saved from the pound. I know how much people miss their dogs while vacationing so I will go out of my way to meet their needs and keep them safe. I am a retired teacher, now working part time as a substitute teacher. My husband fills the gap when I do work since he works from home 2 days per week. He also leaves later than I do if he is going into the office. We both like to workout, so active dogs are fine with us! We have a fenced in yard, but will walk your dog on a leash once a day, with lots of outdoor time.

Walter had a great time during his stay; he told me so. Received plenty of pictures and videos of neighborhood walks and fun in the yard. The frequent updates were greatly appreciated. Will definitely contact Brooke again when in town to keep Walter.
Brooke and Mark provided exceptional care for my dog. He was taken for walks and showered with attention. I wouldn’t want to leave my little guy with anyone else.
We know our dog Sabora is in good hands when Brooke is taking care of her. Brooke always gets her a good walk and we love the fact that she can interact with other dogs. Thank you, Brooke.
Our Goldendoodle had another wonderful stay at Brooke and Mark's. We received a lot of photos and videos, he had plenty of exercise, and they delivered him to our house when our flight home was delayed. We will definitely use them again.
Katherine was amazing with our senior dog! We have been searching for someone to take care of him while we are out of town and she did amazing. He takes many medications and requires a lot of attention and it takes a special person to care for him! It as so nice to be able to enjoy a vacation without worrying about our little old man!
Katherine was amazing. This was the first time she watched our dogs. We met her before we went away which I appreciated, this way she got to meet our pups and make sure they got along with her dog. She sent us tons of photos and we appreciate all of the walks our dogs went on with her. We will definitely be using her again in the future!

Schedule
Weekend schedule: ● We’re home most of the time. ● One of us is up early before 7:00 AM. ● We always do a daily walk if that’s part of your dog’s routine. ● Your dog will get lots of backyard play and breaks. Weekday schedule: ● Up at 5:30 AM ● We feed on your schedule if requested, or about 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM. ● Short walk in the AM if I’m subbing. ● Longer walk once a day. We go 30-45 minutes if that’s part of your dog’s routine. ● Mark works from home 2 days a week. ● We generally feed about 4:30 PM and play in the backyard until the human’s eat dinner. Out again around 8:00 PM, then out late night before we go to bed. ● Dogs sleep where they want to sleep.

We have a fenced in yard and 1 dog so we're on his active 2-year-old routine. We like to workout, so active dogs are welcome!
Pets
A typical day
There is a park close by and a 5-mile shady trail to walk your dog. We typically walk our own dog 3 short walks per day, with one being at least 30 minutes long during the cooler time of the day. We play a lot in the backyard with fetch or whatever your dog wants to do.
