I've been pet sitting (mostly dogs and cats) for 15+ years, usually combined with longterm house sitting. I've had pets all my life, but currently cannot have them where I'm living. I miss having furry companions, so helping to care for others' pets fills the void! I used to have a Great Pyrenees, Penelope, so I love and understand big dogs. I've also cared for little dogs, cats, and chickens. I'd love to do more farm sitting. I'm an active person and love long walks. I believe tired dogs are good dogs, so if they're amenable, I like to go for long walks and play hard. I also have experience with older dogs and love to provide them with TLC in their final years.

Safety, trust & environment
I need to care for pets in your home until I move to place that allows me to have pets again. I'm comfortable with overnights and long stays. If you teach me the routine, we'll stick to it, and I'll be around to give them extra love and reassurance. We'll become buddies!

Can't recommend Katie enough! She was able stay over a week in our apartment with our medium sized / middle aged dog Charlie. She was great about sending status updates and pictures and we felt so at ease knowing our precious angel was in good hands (and we are crazy dog parents 😂). When we arrived home our apartment was clean and tidy! Professional and great communication, thank you so much Katie!

Schedule
I work mostly from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for dog walks or popping over to your house to feed or check in during your busy day.
