Ratings and reviews
Dear Rover Team, I’m writing to recommend my daughter as a pet sitter on Rover. She has more than 15 years of hands-on experience caring for animals, beginning with being raised on a farm where she cared for cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, and pigs. Her experience with animals has been a lifelong part of her daily life and has given her a level of knowledge and responsibility that goes well beyond that of the typical pet sitter. In addition to her extensive experience growing up on a farm, she has worked at a veterinary clinic, where she gained valuable experience with animal health, handling, and care. She currently has a dog and cat of her own, as well as horses, and works at the UC Davis Equestrian Center, where she is involved in the care and handling of horses. She is comfortable caring for animals of all sizes and temperaments and understands that every animal has different needs. She is attentive, dependable, patient, and genuinely loves animals. Her experience has taught her to recognize changes in an animal’s behavior and well-being and to take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet very seriously. I would feel completely confident leaving my own pets in her care, and I believe she would be an excellent addition to the Rover community. Her combination of lifelong farm experience, veterinary-clinic experience, and current professional work with horses gives her an unusually broad background in animal care. I hope you will take her extensive experience into consideration when reviewing her application. She has a great deal to offer pet owners who are looking for someone knowledgeable, responsible, and trustworthy to care for their beloved animals. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Maureen Matthews
