I can’t recommend her enough as a dog walker. She was consistently punctual, reliable, and clearly cared deeply for my dog. From day one, my dog warmed up to her immediately, which already told me a lot about how good she is with animals. Every walk was handled with attention and kindness, and I always felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in her care. What really stood out was the bond she built…whenever she left, my dog would wait by the window, clearly expecting her to come back, which says everything about how much he loved her visits. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m able to build my day around consistent care and check-ins. I’m used to structuring my time around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and not stressed while their owners are away. In the morning, I can handle feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, walks, and a quick check on how each pet is feeling and acting. Throughout the day, I’m able to do drop-in visits, walks, or play sessions depending on the pet’s needs, while also keeping owners updated if requested. In the evening, I focus on dinner feeding, another walk or litter cleaning for cats, and calming activities so pets can settle in comfortably for the night. I also make sure their environment is clean, safe, and consistent. Overall, pet care fits well into my routine because I’m organized, flexible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so it feels like a natural and important part of my day rather than a task.

A typical day
When I’m pet sitting, I make sure the animals are not only cared for but also happy, engaged, and mentally stimulated. For dogs, I enjoy going on walks that match their energy level, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and doing simple enrichment games like hiding treats for them to find. I also like practicing basic commands in a positive, rewarding way so they stay active and focused. For more relaxed dogs, I’ll spend time just giving attention, belly rubs, and calm companionship so they feel safe and loved. For cats, I like using wand toys, laser play (in moderation), and interactive games that let them hunt and chase. I also enjoy setting up little enrichment moments like hiding treats, rotating toys, or just spending quiet time with them so they don’t feel lonely. One fun thing I do that pet parents really enjoy is making little “doggie and kitty report cards” after my visits. I fill them out with how their pet behaved, what they did during the day, their mood, and any funny or cute moments. It’s a lighthearted way for owners to come home, get an update, and have a little laugh seeing their fur baby’s “report.” It also helps them feel connected and reassured while they’re away. Overall, I focus on making sure every pet feels entertained, comfortable, and cared for like they’re my own.
