Family of 4 who love dogs
We absolutely love dogs, but aren’t able to have one of our own at the moment, so caring for other people’s dogs is something we genuinely enjoy. Every dog that stays with us becomes part of the family – from morning walks to evening cuddles, they’ll be treated with the same love and care we’d give our own. To make sure every dog gets the attention they deserve, we only care for 1 dog at a time. That means your dog will enjoy a calm, relaxed home environment and our full attention throughout their stay. We have two daughters (14 and 9) who have grown up around dogs and are calm, experienced and respectful with them. We also have experience caring for dogs with anxiety or those who need a little extra reassurance. We’re always happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, so they feel as settled and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I work from home full time, which means your dog will have company throughout the day and will rarely be left alone. As a family, we love being outdoors and tailor every walk to the individual dog. That could be a gentle stroll around the local streets, a paddle along the prom, or a longer adventure to Halnaker Windmill or Chichester Canal. Whether your dog loves exploring or prefers a slower pace, we’ll make sure they’re happy, exercised and having fun. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and videos so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re safe, loved and having a wonderful holiday too. Absolutely lovely dog sitter! We left our sweet natured but anxious cockapoo with Katherine and her family over night. We were updated with lovely photos throughout which we loved receiving! Olive was taken good care of with lots of walks. She was even allowed to sleep on their beds which was a total home form home experience! Will definitely book Katherine again. Thank you

Oscar had a great time getting lots of attention and love from the family 😍 great updates daily and will definitely be seeing Katherine again soon

This is the second time Katherine and her family have looked after Rafi our Border Terrier. Rafi needed medication for his possible ear infection and Katherine communicated with us regularly on his wellbeing. Katherine provided updates and sent some lovely photos of Rafi. He always seemed content and happy in their home.

Ruby our little cockerpoo did a bit of a barking and playing up when we arrived, but I knew she was going to love who opened the door. Katherine’s youngest daughter was waiting to see Ruby, and once Ruby saw her her tail was wagging and the barking changed to her excited bark! She had a lovely time with the family and Katherine sent lots of photos to reassure me. We are now looking for some other dates!!

Dot was very happy with Katherine and her family. I got lovely and regular updates with photos and videos. Many thanks Katherine

Hazel had an amazing time with Katherine and her family. This was her first time staying but the frequent updates whilst we were away stopped us from worrying as we knew Hazel was having a fantastic time. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Schedule
Our daily schedule is I work from home full time so can be available all day. I have calls for only a couple of hours a day so would need the dog to be able to chill during this time. They can always be in the room with me or on my lap during calls.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We have a large, fully fenced garden and lots of indoor space. We are comfortable with pets on the sofa and in the bed but will be respectful of owners rules. Small dogs who are used to sleeping in their owners beds can sleep in with my eldest daughter or myself.
A typical day
My girls will play with dogs in our large back garden and we usually do medium to long walks, up to 90 mins, locally from our house and along the prom or to parks. We can be flexible depending on dog needs/owner preferences. I also love to do longer walks, up to 8 miles, maybe along the Chichester canal etc if dogs can go in the car and enjoy long walks.
