Pet care experience

Consistent care while you're away

If your dog is a rescue who's still figuring out the world, or just a creature of habit who thrives on routine — that's exactly who I do this for. I work from home, so I'm able to follow their schedule: same walks, same feeding times, same special treats. The only thing different about your dog's week is which human is holding the leash (and cuddling on the couch). Send me a message to set up a meet-and-greet — I'd love to hear all about your pet.

Katherine was a pleasure to work with from the moment I reached out for pet care. She is very professional and responsive and has a calm, competent demeanor enabling me to feel very comfortable entrusting my super sensitive terrier with her. She knew how to read his energy and respect his boundaries which allowed him to feel safe and comfortable in Katherine's care. I highly recommend Katherine!

House Sitting • févr. 25, 2026

We had such a wonderful experience with Katherine caring for our two cats. From the very beginning, she was incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and reliable. She kept us updated consistently with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she’s both experienced and genuinely caring - our cats felt comfortable with her right away. She was attentive to their routines and gave them lots of playtime and love. We came home to two very happy, relaxed cats and a house that was just as we left it. We felt confident the entire time that they were in safe, capable hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter!

Katherine is amazing. This is the second time we’ve had her stop by for a drop-in visit. She is always on time and has great communication.

Katherine is truly exceptional. She cared for our senior pets — a 14-year-old dog and a 10-year-old cat — with such empathy, patience, and attentiveness. From the moment we met her, her calm demeanor and genuine care for animals put us completely at ease. She arrived on time, followed our pets’ routines to a T, and went above and beyond to ensure they felt comfortable while we were away. When our dog wasn’t feeling well one evening, she even canceled her own dinner plans to stay and monitor him — a gesture that spoke volumes about her sense of responsibility and compassion. Katherine was very attentive to both our pets, and it was clear that their well-being was her top priority. She kept our home spotless and maintained clear, thoughtful communication throughout our trip - a tremendous help in reassuring us. Her care for living beings goes far beyond “just a job.” We feel so grateful to have found her and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and deeply responsible pet sitter.

Katherine was excellent. She stopped by for a quick check-in visit with Pawly, let her out to do her business, and feed her a treat. Great communication. Would certainly book her again!

Schedule

Working from home means your dog has company during the day, not just a check-in at mealtimes. I build my schedule around the pets I'm caring for, so your dog's feeding times, walks, and favorite spots on the couch all stay as consistent as possible. The goal is for your dog to feel like not much has changed.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

When we're outside, your dog has my full attention. I skip dog parks to avoid the risks of unpredictable dogs, illness, or overstimulation. I only care for dogs from one household at a time, so your dog always gets my undivided focus. During the warmer months, I stay on top of tick checks and heat management to keep your dog safe and comfortable. I'm comfortable administering oral medications and I closely monitor food intake and potty patterns so I can flag anything unusual.

Pets

A typical day

I work from home, so your dog has company throughout the day. A typical day follows your dog's usual routine — morning breakfast, a walk, and time to sniff and explore at their own pace. Throughout the day, I mix in play sessions, potty breaks, and one-on-one attention based on your dog's needs. I'm happy to reinforce the training cues or routines you have in place.

To make sure I'm the right fit for your care needs, it helps to know a few things before we connect: 1. How do they do with other dogs? 2. How are they with new people? 3. Any leash reactivity or triggers on walks? 4. Any signs of separation anxiety — barking when you leave, jumping at doors, destructive behavior? I've worked with anxious dogs before and like to be prepared. 5. Any dietary needs, allergies, or feeding quirks? 6. Any medications, supplements, or special accommodations?
