College Student and Animal Lover!
I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania where we always had dogs, cats, goats, horses, and (after I begged my parents) guinea pigs. I've always had a natural way with all animals but I especially love dogs. Growing up, my beloved dog Edie was blind and dealt with anxiety and aggression, so I have a soft spot for dogs with special needs or difficult behaviors. I have dog walking and care experience with all ages and sizes of dogs and have encountered and loved a wide range of personalities. I always treat animals with patience and kindness-- animals will always tell us what they need and I am more than happy to listen!

Kate is incredibly reliable and takes excellent care of our dog, Frankie. She is always on time, keeps us informed, leaves detailed notes about the visit, and is very gentle and patient with Frankie (who is an anxious dog). We always feel confident entrusting Frankie with Kate.

Schedule
I am currently a college student in a conservatory setting, so my schedule is demanding. However, with free weekends and practically free week-day mornings I am more than happy to dedicate time to caring for your pet(s)!

While I am unable to care for pets in my own living space, I will be sure to treat your home environment with the utmost care! I will only interact with things in your home that you have established are okay to touch.

A typical day
I love to play catch and tug-o-war with dogs that are interested! I’m also very patient with dogs who are big sniffers— if a dog is really interested in a smell I’ll let them check it out!
