Love Animals

I have always had an affinity towards animals. I grew up on a ranch with 8 horses, 4 large dogs, and 6 cats. I personally trained every one of them. I have cared for senior dogs, and special needs dogs. I am a stay at home Mom of 16 year old twins, a Neopolitan Mastiff (She took daily Medications for Hip dysplasia), and 2 Scottish Collies. I have had dogs for as long as I can remember. My last dog before these three died of old age in my arms. I love animals and they seem to love me as well. I treat them as family members and will treat your pets the same. If I sound like a good fit then please book a time, day, or weekend/week. If not, then I wish you the best in your hunt for your care taker!

What a wonderful caring environment for any animal. My dogs and I were stressed, Katherine spent quality time with them distracting and even having fun. She sent me updates and I knew wholeheartedly that the guys were being well taken care of and loved. You couldn't ask for a better person to care for your animals.

Kat is amazing!!! If you’re worried about leaving your pet with someone you can trust then look no further. Know that she is responsible and caring. I will only want to use Kat for future babysitting. Her house is perfect for the pups to run around and have fun. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby. I fully trust you and I don’t trust easily when it comes to my baby. Your amazing and have a loving and caring family.

Kat is awesome! Very welcoming and sweet. She invited me to her home for a meet and greet prior to the appointment to make sure everything would run smoothly. I felt very comfortable leaving my little one in her care. She was quick to respond and provided images and details about P-Nut's stay. I will definitely be asking her to dog sit again. She is a natural dog mama, big and small. Thank you so much for your help!

Super happy and thankful I found Kat and her family. It was difficult to find a family who would take a 65 lb dog especially on short notice. Fortunately I found Kat. They're used to big dogs (and animals in general). They also have a good sized yard for big dogs to stretch their legs. Entertainment provided by the family and their own pack of beautiful dogs. They're attentive to my dog's needs as far as feeding times and his need for daily walks. Super happy I found them. Would have no problem leaving my dog with them again in the future. Thanks again guys!

Kat and her pack took the best care of my boy for several days! They loved on and played with him like their own, communication was easy peasy and her big dog and big animal knowledge was reassuring. I loved knowing he was in her hands and their welcoming home.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I’m home all day everyday with the exception of grocery shopping, medical appointments, or the occasional errand. Pet care has been a daily routine for as long as I can remember. I have always had and have pets. They are an integral part of my life. I take my dogs on multiple daily walks as well as play with them and train them in my yard. I take them to the park as a treat, and they learn to help around the house.

Safety, trust & environment

Regardless of location all pets under my care are interacted with all day long. If they need medication I have years of experience in giving them medication/shots as needed. If they have medical conditions I remain alert and respond readily as needed. If anything serious happens I am calm and usually able to diffuse any hyperactivity or anxiety amongst the animals.

Pets

A typical day

We will go on walks pretty much anywhere. I enjoy taking them to parks to play; on trails to keep energy spent; I play fetch and tug of war; and I will send photo updates of our adventures as I am also a photographer so photos are never in short supply. If your fur baby has any limitations, activities can be worked out to accommodate them.

I will watch any dog at my home or theirs. I will also watch cats but that will only be available in their own home. I do request a meeting if you feel your pet(s) are anxious or aggressive. Getting a feel for each and every pet and their character is important in determining the best way to care for them.
