Caring for dogs is my full-time focus, which allows me to provide a consistent, structured routine throughout the day. Dogs are never simply “watched” they’re actively cared for with regular potty breaks, enrichment, exercise, supervised socialization, and plenty of quiet time to rest. I keep my groups intentionally small so every dog receives the individual attention they deserve. Whether your pup is staying for daycare or boarding, my goal is for them to feel relaxed, engaged, and completely at home.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. My home is thoughtfully set up with gates, crates, and designated quiet spaces so every dog has a place to decompress whenever they need it. Dogs are introduced gradually based on their personalities and comfort levels, and all interactions are supervised. I’m certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, experienced with puppies, seniors, medication administration, and dogs with behavioral or medical needs. I believe structure creates confidence, so every dog enjoys a calm, predictable environment where they can safely play, rest, and thrive.

Information Katherine I. would like to know about your pet

The more I know about your dog, the better I can personalize their care. Please let me know about their personality, daily routine, medical conditions, medications, allergies, fears, training, socialization, or any behaviors you’d like me to be aware of. I don’t expect every dog to be perfect—my priority is understanding their needs so I can create a safe, positive experience from the moment they arrive. Honesty helps me provide the best care possible and sets every dog up for a successful stay.

A typical day

Every dog’s day is tailored to their individual needs, age, and energy level. We start with potty breaks and a relaxed sniff walk before moving into enrichment activities, supervised play, and outdoor adventures. Throughout the day, dogs have opportunities to explore, cool off in the summer, solve puzzles, play games, or simply relax in the shade. Rest is just as important as exercise, so we balance activity with quiet nap breaks to prevent overstimulation. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos so you can follow your dog’s day and have complete peace of mind.

Adventure & Enrichment Dog Care

Pet care experience

For me, pet care is about much more than supervision it’s about creating an environment where every dog feels safe, understood, and genuinely enjoys their stay. I intentionally keep my groups small so I can provide individualized care, thoughtful introductions, and constant supervision throughout the day. Every stay is balanced with adventure, enrichment, rest, and plenty of affection. Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, their day may include sniff walks, mental enrichment games, cooling play in the summer, quiet nap breaks, and supervised social time. I believe dogs thrive when they have both stimulation and opportunities to decompress. With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, I’m comfortable administering oral medications and caring for puppies, seniors, and dogs with behavioural or medical needs. I’m certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, and my home is thoughtfully designed with gates, crates, and safe spaces so every dog has somewhere comfortable to relax when they need it. Communication is one of the most important parts of my service. You’ll receive regular updates and photos throughout your dog’s stay, so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is simple: I want every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and excited to come back and every owner to feel complete peace of mind while they’re away.

Kahlua had an excellent day. Katherine’s home seems so welcoming for furry friends. Kahlua settled in immediately for big naps and felt right at home. She took to her immediately. She seems very knowledgeable and understanding when it comes to dog behaviour. Definitely found someone who can give a bit of structure to my little land shark while I’m away without getting bamboozled by the cuteness factor. 😂
