When it comes to your pets, you want them to have the best care there is. My animals are my children. So, I understand the need to feel secure and confident when choosing a pet-sitter. I will treat your pet(s) as if they are my own and give them as much attention and love as they rightfully deserve. You can rest assured they will be in safe, trustworthy and above all, loving hands while you are away. **Note: Due to recent changes in this app's policy, I have had to raise my rates. My apologies and thank you for your understanding. I am competent working with large and small breeds of dogs ,cats (all temperaments), and exotics. Given my veterinary training, I am proficient in identifying emergencies and critical situations that may require veterinary attention should they arise. I'm comfortable with administering medications, following strict feeding/health regiments, and caring for senior, special-needs animals and animals/currently undergoing strict medical regiments. I pride myself in my promptness and ability to strictly adhere to any and all instructions provided. Playtime and walks are an important part of your animal's daily routine and enrichment. During your pet's time with me, I will ensure they receive adequate stimulation and the same quality of care you provide them at home. You can also expect daily pictures and updates of your pet while you are away. A little bit about me: I am the proud mom of 4 cats: Frankenstein, Penelope, Sugar Bear & Spatz. They are my world!!! I recently moved to Illinois from SW Florida where I was a full time veterinary technician for several years. While in FL, I also volunteered with a local wolf and exotic animal rescue for over a decade which provided me with invaluable hands on experience. Currently, I am working solely as a pet sitter and am flexible with my schedule so as to better suit you and your pets needs. For new clients, I like to set up 2 meet and greets. The first in a neutral, public setting to make sure it's a good fit (assuming pet can be outside). Then, a second one in the home to go over the full routine and schedule. Safety, trust & environment
When staying at a client's home or dropping in for a visit/walk I am respectful of your space first and foremost. I am also extremely cautious when entering a home so as not to let animals out as that is my #1 worry with my own animals. I am also a neat freak and will leave your space as you found it.

Kat was so sweet with our doggies! She was diligent and thorough taking notes at our pre-planned meetups. She was always on time and very communicative. She sent lots of pictures and it was very obvious that our dogs absolutely loved her. She took great care of our home as well, left everything tidy, and even left relaxing music on for the dogs after she left. Our only complaint is that I think our dogs might like her better than us now! They miss her and we can't wait to book Kat again!
Kat was absolutely outstanding!!! I couldn’t recommend anyone better!! She truly was amazing and took care of our cats! We have already booked her again for our trip in May! It’s safe to say we found our cat sitter!

Kat was great with my older dog and my puppy while we were able to join our cruise vacation- she updated us daily and i didn’t need to worry about how the dogs were doing. Can’t wait to book her again.
Kat is fabulous! After spending 48 hours with our 8 month old golden retriever, Gracie, Kat is now clearly Gracie’s best friend! Kat did a terrific job keeping us updated with lots of photos and actually did an adorable photo shoot with Gracie amongst our Christmas decorations. Love Kat, and will definitely use her again and again!
