When it comes to your pets, you want them to have the best care there is. My animals are my children. So, I understand the need to feel secure and confident when choosing a pet-sitter. I will treat your pet(s) as if they are my own and give them as much attention and love as they rightfully deserve. You can rest assured they will be in safe, trustworthy and above all, loving hands while you are away. **Note: Due to recent changes in this app's policy, I have had to raise my rates. My apologies and thank you for your understanding. I am competent working with large and small breeds of dogs ,cats (all temperaments), and exotics. Given my veterinary training, I am proficient in identifying emergencies and critical situations that may require veterinary attention should they arise. I'm comfortable with administering medications, following strict feeding/health regiments, and caring for senior, special-needs animals and animals/currently undergoing strict medical regiments. I pride myself in my promptness and ability to strictly adhere to any and all instructions provided. Playtime and walks are an important part of your animal's daily routine and enrichment. During your pet's time with me, I will ensure they receive adequate stimulation and the same quality of care you provide them at home. You can also expect daily pictures and updates of your pet while you are away. A little bit about me: I am the proud mom of 4 cats: Frankenstein, Penelope, Sugar Bear & Spatz. They are my world!!! I recently moved to Illinois from SW Florida where I was a full time veterinary technician for several years. While in FL, I also volunteered with a local wolf and exotic animal rescue for over a decade which provided me with invaluable hands on experience. *New clients: I like to set up 2 meet and greets. The first in a neutral, public setting to make sure it's a good fit (assuming pet can be outside). Then, a second one in the home to go over the full routine and schedule.
