About Chance

Chance is a good old boy! He is a 9 year old Australian Cattle Dog and is great with pretty much all dogs from small puppies to large adults, kitties, children and pretty much all people. Sometimes he can have separation anxiety so he likes to stay with us inside by our side or with our other dog Penny as much as possible. He sleeps at the foot of our bed in his cushioned bed every night. He may be old, but he can still jump like lemur! When he's outside, I usually have to check and make sure he's still out there because we have found out that this old Jackie Chan of dogs can still clear our fence like no one's business. He's incredibly sweet and really just wants to please.

He's an old boy, so he likes to play, but he still will stay pretty laid back. Most dogs get the idea pretty quickly that he's more of a grandfather figure.
  • Gets along with cats: Yes

Special Requirements

He needs to eat with ground canned food as well as dry mixed in, just because his teeth have became so worn down with age that just straight up hard dry food can be a little difficult for him. The same goes for treats - just give him some time to finish it - no rawhides or bones needed at all.
