Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile. I’ve had pets all my life and have been a professional house and pet sitter for the past 5+ years. I enjoy taking care of both dogs and cats and have found that I’m especially well-suited for more anxious pets who need a calm and gentle presence in their homes while their owners are away.

Having traveled so much and stayed in so many different accommodations, including, but not limited to Airbnbs, tiny houses, apartments, hostels, hotels, and treehouses, I understand how to be a respectful houseguest. I take a lot of care to be clean, quiet, and a good communicator when I'm staying in someone's home, especially when I'm being trusted with their fur babies. Having grown up with pets since the moment I was born, I understand how they are members of the family and I always treat them like they’re my own!

We’ve been working with Katherine for a few years now. She always did great with our senior dog and cat, and now that they’ve passed she’s been doing great getting to know our friendly but timid young rescue dog. She has great communication and is stellar!
Katherine is a really wonderful sitter. Our dogs clearly loved her, and she was a really mindful house sitter. We received regular updates on Odin and Tess, they were all joy and tail wags. Many thanks to her, and we will definitely work with her again!
Katherine stayed with our dogs for a few nights, she took great care of them and our house.
Katherine did an amazing job with ziggy, and kept us in the loop about everything that we needed to know. I would certainly ask her to sit for Ziggy again!
Katherine is a very kind and well-meaning person who clearly cares about animals, and I believe she truly had good intentions while watching our dogs. That said, something very serious happened during her time with our pup that I feel important to share. While under Katherine’s care, one of our dogs was able to get loose and was hit by a car. It was an incredibly painful and frightening experience for all of us. Thankfully, our dog survived and is healing, but the trauma and expense of the situation were significant. To her credit, Katherine responded quickly and got her immediate veterinary care, which we appreciate. However, the accident stemmed possibly from a lapse in judgment that could have been avoided with more alertness. I’m not sharing this to attack Katherine—she’s a lovely person—but I do think it’s important for others to be aware and to have clear safety boundaries in place if considering her as a sitter. We wish her well, and hope our experience helps others make informed decisions.
Katherine did a great job watching our two boys for us while we were out of town.

Schedule
I have a super flexible schedule and can pretty easily accommodate adding in pet care or overnight sits. I work part-time remote, so I can take my work with me and do it while I’m keeping an eye on any pets.
