When meeting your dog or cat, I will take it slow to ensure we are both comfortable with each other, and I use only positive reinforcement methods when working with your pets.
Information Katherine G. would like to know about your pet
Please inform me of any behavioural issues (e.g. reactivity, environmental anxiousness) or medical issues ahead of time so I can take this into account when caring for your pet.
A typical day
I always take my visits at your pets pace, to ensure they’re happy with me and assess whether they feel comfortable having some fuss or play, or whether they’d prefer for us to just exist in each others company.

Experienced pet care professional
Pet care experience
I have a range of experience with dogs of different size, breed, age and temperament. I currently work at Cheltenham Animal Shelter taking care of the dogs looking for their new homes. I am also experienced with dog training so would be happy to continue any training if required during walks with your dog! I also have previous experience of dog walking and sitting, ranging from one visit a day, to staying in the owners home for 10 days. In addition to this, I have acquired a BTEC in Animal Management, and have volunteered in a number of different zoos and nature reserves. I also worked as a volunteer dog walker in an RSPCA kennel. Hopefully my past experience will reassure you that I have a vast knowledge and skill base, meaning I always ensure that an animals welfare needs are met (including plenty of cuddles!). I am reliable, friendly and trustworthy, and I love engaging with both people and animals. So if you are looking for a experienced animal handler (and dog lover!), please don't hesitate to get in contact!

Katherine was very good when looking after my cats and bearded dragon, would definitely recommend her !!

Katherine was lovely, she looked after my cat Craig very well and sent plenty of pictures. I would recommend and will definitely use her again!

Katherine did an excellent job dropping in for our cats whilst we were away. They are quite timid and she really put in effort to make them feel comfortable - which resulted in some hilarious photos! Thank you so much. We highly recommend booking Katherine 😊

Katherine has been an absolute dream to work with. This is our first time using a cat sitter and it could not have gone more perfect. She is professional and has a gentle and caring nature with our cats. They seemed relaxed and very well cared for during her visit! Thank you so much.
