Pet care experience

I offer daycare and dog boarding for a small number of dogs, who will have me, my husband, and our own dog Rufus for company day and night. Rufus is an eight-year-old ''viszlador", a wire-haired viszla / lab cross. He gets on best with females, but he's also fine with males once properly introduced. We have no other pets. We take 2-3 daily walks on the footpaths, coastal paths and beaches of the area, and your dog will have access to our enclosed garden and plenty of toys.

Kate regularly looks after my collie-x Bonnie and she does a wonderful job. Bonnie is not the easiest dog in the world - as I said, she's a Collie mix! But she is always happy to spend the day with Kate and I know she is well looked after. I would definitely recommend Kate as a Rover pet care-giver. She is calm and friendly and clearly dotes on the dogs she looks after.

Kate kindly looked after my German Shepherd at her home. She did so for a few days while I was away, and other times just over night. She was always tuned in to whether my dog was comfortable and relaxed, and careful to give her time and space when she needed it, but with plenty of walking or just general attention. Mixing in with other members of the house hold. Greta always made herself at home in Kate’s home. Having seen her with her own dogs and how she managed minor and major medical problems calmly, I would have no qualms about using her as a professional dog sitter.
