Hi!! Our household is Me-Katie, my husband-- Matt, our toddler & infant sons! We have no personal pets at this time. We have a back yard with a new fence! It is fully fenced in , safe and dog friendly . I have a large pen ( 6ft tall and no open on top) so you don't have to bring yours when boarding your pup unless you would to use yours!! We crate all pups when we leave for errands and at night. Matt & I have had dogs all of our lives. I adopted and have cared for my pup Flynn since he was 10 months old and we have now raised a heeler from a baby. The pups are free as long as we are home, they have access to the whole downstairs including the furniture! If needed we take walks when the weather allows, play in the back year round and love to snuggle. Your pup(s) may choose to play fetch with a human hosts or to lounge on the couch for snuggles. There are children in the house with that often comes loud noises and sudden movements. Our boy is respectful and used to being around dogs, but will be loud at times. If your pup isnt used to that environment it could be shocking. I want to explain a few things in my bio: -- Pick up & Drop off times are between 7am- 8:30pm in a 30 min window. I know things come up, flights get delayed etc and will do my best to work with you! Communicate any needs in this area as soon as possble. --I only take dogs that are neutered/spayed unless they are under a year old for health reasons. I have no experience with a female in heat and don't feel comfortable watching them. --I crate the dogs when I am gone and at night , I am afraid the dogs will forget they in a new place and be stressed not being in familiar place. If these are a problem please reach out and we can chat. --I only board for one or two families at a time so your pup(s) will get all the attention, love and cuddles they could need! Doggie daycare: I would prefer that they be familiar with crates so I can offer them a break and place to relax if needed, but this is not required. Neutered/fixed is preferred unless they are under a year for health reasons

Katherine was amazing! Our dog gets quite anxious which can cause others to become anxious since they don’t know him well. She took it all in stride and made it easy for us to enjoy our trip away! She was a great communicator and I 100% recommend her!

Schedule
Currently, I am completing a stay at home and am home most of the day everyday. I leave for a few hours weekly to run errands or go to church. I am usually gone 2-4 hours at a time and most of that time Matt is home. Before I leave , we always play so everyone is tired and can nap while I am away!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced backyard, to ensure everyone is safe when in the back. Our house has a gate so the pups can't access upstairs and we use crates and gates to separate dogs for rest, feeding, sleeping (unless otherwise informed by the owners). We always use leashes when not in the back and take into consideration every dogs unique personality to ensure their safety. All dogs are crated during feeding, at night. Accommodations will be made if needed to ensure the dogs eat and have a relaxing fun vacation with us!
A typical day
We hang out in the back yard alot - weather depending. Playing fetch, chasing the laser, lounging be the fire or snuggles are often favorite things for our guest dogs!! We have a dog friendly kiddie pool for those hot days so we can get some outside time in (if desired) and stay cool!
