Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs. From a young age, I took care of them, gaining hands-on experience and sharing that knowledge with friends and family. I have worked with various breeds from Australian Shepards to Jack Russell terriers.

From crate-trained dogs to those who have full freedom around the home, I adapt to their routines to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. Whether it’s providing structured crate time, supervising free-range dogs, or ensuring they get plenty of exercise through multiple walks or playtime in a fenced backyard, I am experienced in handling all types of care. No matter what your dog’s routine is, I am more than happy to follow your instructions to keep them happy and well cared for.

I’ve asked Katie to watch my two 50-60lb female rescues dogs and two cats (one male one female) multiple times now. She is FANTASTIC! She follows all instructions to a T. She truly loves our pets like her own. Our male cat usually runs at the first sign of a person who isn’t my husband or myself, but she was able to get him to warm up to her and let her pet him. Our girls are also very skittish from their pasts but took to Katie immediately! I cannot give enough praise to this woman. If you need a sitter or someone to just say hi to your furry friend during the day, Katie is the one you want!

Schedule
I am currently a graduate student, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. This flexibility enables me to dedicate quality time to caring for dogs, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I can accommodate a variety of schedules to meet both the dog’s and the owner’s needs.
