Being retired means we have lots of time to relax and play with the fur kids. With a wide open schedule, our dates are very often easily flexible.

Every critter is different and has different needs, so we make sure to set things up to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible when caring for pets while parents are away. Written instructions along with a zoom or in-person meeting takes the worry out of pet-sitting.

If there are high-value treats, or specific times to give meds, treats, or walks, please be specific about what the pets need so their schedule is disrupted as little as possible. Be sure to include regular and emergency vet info (heaven forfend), neighbors and friends if they help out, and double-check that the flufballs have plenty of food while parents are away.
A typical day
Some doggies are couch potatoes, some doggies need 45 minutes with a chuck-it; the day's activities are doggo dependent. Just about every doggie loves walks, and if they can tolerate it then morning and evening walks are often the highlight of the doggie day. Tug-o-war, fetch, go-find-it, hide-&-seek, car rides to a bark park, whatever the fur baby wants we can do it.

Pet care experience
I am a lifelong animal lover and retired musician and music teacher. My wife of 20 years, Donna, retired from from commercial and construction safety after decades of protecting workers. From Dogs and cats to birdies, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits, We have loved and adored every fur baby we've been lucky enough to care for, and my wife and I are beloved aunties to the pets of every one of our friends. Life is just so much richer with fur and feather babies. Donna and I currently do not have any fur or feather kids and have recently retired. Giving other pet parents peace of mind while they travel is a win-win since we get to love and cuddle others' pets, keeping them at home where they are most comfortable.
