Pet care is my full-time profession, and I organize my schedule around providing reliable drop-in visits and dog walks for my clients. I am available for recurring daily or weekly visits, as well as occasional drop-ins and walks when schedules allow. I do my best to accommodate requested visit times, and I typically aim to arrive within about 30 minutes of the requested time window. Midday and early evening timeframes are the most popular for many clients, so on particularly busy days I may reach out to confirm a slightly adjusted arrival window to ensure every pet receives the attention they deserve. Reliability & Backup Support In the rare situation that I am unable to complete a scheduled visit due to illness or a family emergency, my husband—who has also completed a background check through Rover—may assist to ensure your pets continue receiving reliable care. If more than a single visit substitution were ever needed, I would always contact the pet parent first. Family & Visits My teenage daughter is often with me during visits. She is a dedicated animal lover with aspirations of becoming a large-animal veterinarian, and she has been accompanying me on visits since I began providing pet care through Rover. She is calm and respectful around animals and enjoys helping provide gentle attention and affection during visits. Because she is frequently with me, I ask that clients booking services are comfortable with her accompanying me. My Goal My goal is always to provide consistent, dependable care so pets remain comfortable and relaxed in their home environment while their families are away. For new clients, I typically schedule a short meet-and-greet before the first booking whenever possible. This allows us to review your pet’s routine, feeding instructions, walk preferences, and any special care needs. Meet-and-greets help ensure that your pet feels comfortable and that we are a great fit for each other. Once the first visit is completed, future bookings are usually quick and easy to schedule. With over 1,000 completed visits and walks, I’m very comfortable managing a wide variety of pet routines and personalities. My schedule can fill quickly, so advance booking is always appreciated for recurring visits and travel dates.

I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as normal as possible while their families are away. During each visit, I follow your pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest so they can remain comfortable in their familiar home environment. Your pet will always receive my full attention, patience, and care during our time together. With more than 1,000 completed visits and walks, I’m very comfortable working with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and household routines. For walks and drop-in visits, I use the scheduled visit time as efficiently as possible so your pet receives the full benefit of the service you booked. If a dog needs time to cool down, drink water, or settle after a walk, I make sure that care is included within the scheduled visit. Safety is always my top priority—for your pet, for myself, and for others in the environment. I approach each visit with calm, attentive handling so pets feel secure and relaxed. In addition to Rover’s protections, I also carry separate liability insurance, which can be provided upon request. My goal is always to make each visit safe, calm, and positive for your pets while you are away. The more I know about your pet and their routine, the better I can care for them while you are away. Helpful information includes feeding schedules, medications, exercise preferences, and anything that helps maintain your pet’s normal daily routine. It is also very helpful to know if your pet has any specific sensitivities or triggers, such as interactions with unfamiliar dogs, small children, loud noises, or other situations that may cause stress during walks or visits. This allows me to plan visits in a way that keeps your pet comfortable and safe. For cats or other pets that prefer to hide during visits, I will still complete all scheduled care tasks such as feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and checking on their well-being. I always respect both your pet’s comfort level and your home while completing visits. I also have experience caring for a variety of animals beyond dogs and cats, including large birds, tortoises, and other exotic pets. If you need care for these animals, please feel free to mention it when reaching out so we can discuss their specific care needs.

Some pets are excited to get outside for a walk and explore the neighborhood, while others prefer a relaxed visit with playtime, attention, and companionship. For dogs, visits often include a walk or yard time, fresh water, feeding if scheduled, and some play or enrichment to help burn energy and keep them mentally engaged. Walks are a great opportunity for dogs to explore their surroundings, enjoy new scents, and get healthy exercise. For pets who prefer a calmer pace—such as senior pets or shy animals—I’m always happy to spend time providing quiet companionship, gentle attention, and reassurance. My goal during every visit is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and relaxed until you return home.
