I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I take care of family and friend's furbabies on a regular basis. I am friendly and experienced, used to daily routines, specialized diets and special needs. I will make sure your pet has fun and is reassured in your absence!

Buddy had the best care while we were away. Normally, he’s pretty aloof and skittish, so we’re always reluctant to leave him. However, Katherine sent us regular photo updates of him living his good life, which put us at ease while we were away. I highly recommend!
Kate was a wonderful friend to our dog! She was flexible with us as our timing needs shifted, sent pictures and notes, and even gave her an extra walk before heading out. Highly recommend!

We are very happy to write a glowing report about Katherine! We have booked her, within the past few months, to come into our home and to take care of our dear pawed family. Right from the onset we were totally confident that she would give the care, attention and love that our pets need. We always leave notes for her (our location, contact numbers and any particular needs that our pets require.) While away, Katherine sends us pictures of our pawed kids in action, which is always reassuring. When we come home, everything is organised as it should be, the kitty litter is immaculate, the doggy station has fresh water and clean bowls, there are no dishes left on the counter...just like it was us not leaving. You know... we knew Katherine would be a great fit from the start from the way the animals bonded with her immediately. She knows the routine, she stays at our house when we ask and when we return its almost as though we hadn't left. Nothing can make a mini vacay more enjoyable when you have total confidence in your caregiver. When we return home the pets come to the door to say, "hey welcome home mom and dad...ah... where's Katherine???

Schedule
I work at Queen's during the week, so have time at lunch and before/after on weekdays, and am open to anytime on the weekend! I am available and flexible to meet your pet's needs and schedule.
