I have taken care of large and small dogs from puppyhood to adulthood since I little. My dogs have always been gentle giants. Great Pyrenees, Alaskan Malamutes, Springer Spaniels, Australian Shepherds - I've had a lot of experience with walking and playing with large, high energy dogs. I have dog-sat in day visits and overnight for all kinds of dogs, including small Shih Tzu's and other lapdogs who love attention and companionship. I am well equipped to handle your dog's dietary needs and feeding schedules. Finally, I have a car to drive small and large dogs to larger outdoor spaces. I would adore to spend time taking care of your loved ones - taking them for walks in the park or local forests and neighborhoods, playing tug-o-war or fetch, and providing companionship throughout the day. I am well versed in recognizing and listening to their needs. In addition, I have cat-sat for kittens and older cats, providing care and companionship and keeping an eye on the most mischievous ones. I'd love the chance to spend more time with cats or helping with feeding times. I look forward to meeting your furry friends!

At your home, as the pet owner, I will ensure all safety and precautions are followed and upheld to the best of my ability. I have house-sat many times before for dogs big and small, and follow a regular schedule for feeding, walking, and ensuring regular bathroom breaks to keep the home clean and safe.

I wholeheartedly recommend Katie as a petsitter. She has owned and cared for several dogs of her own which speaks to her love of animals and her capacity to take care of them. One of her dogs has epilepsy, and requires additional medication and attention. Katie cares for her with a unique blend of compassion and empathy and does whatever is needed to make sure her pet is well cared for. In addition, she has been a pet sitter for many of her friends who have cats and other animals. I always think that animals can sense when they are near someone they can trust, and they respond to Katie that way. They get excited to see her and don't hesitate to come to her. Even cats who can be stand-offish at times find their way to her because she is calm and lets them approach her when they are ready. From daily feedings to outdoor exercise to cuddling on the couch, Katie handles all of these responsibilities with genuine love and her own unique intuitive ability. She will care for your pets as if they were her own, and that is exactly what any pet owner wants.

Schedule
I am currently working part time and have several hours a week to take care of your pets, including long or short walks or drop-ins!
