Pet care experience

Pet Care Specialist and Animal Enthusiast!

Hi! I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Veterinary medicine with Archeology. I have passion for animals and animal care, having extensive experience caring for many kinds of pets. After spending my final year of my degree walking dogs everyday, I realised it was something that I would love to continue full time. There is nothing more rewarding to me than the excited tail wags when a dog sees you and knows that means it is walkies time! I have also recently been doing house sitting, keeping furry friends entertained while their loved ones are away. I enjoy creating fun activities, games and scent challenges so you can be sure your pup will have endless fun! I halso have experience walking rescue dogs, with past trauma, anxiety and reactiveness. I found that through daily positive walk experiences and plenty of cuddles, they began to show noticible progress. Watching the reactive girl walk past her first dog without reacting was one of many very proud moments. I also have signifiacant knowledge of both age related and breed related needs of dogs. With regards to appropriate exercise, safe chewing, behaviour and diet etc. I also held a Saturday job in a pet shop for 2 years, where I have recieved nutrition and animal care training, also helping run an hour a week of puppy socialisation, so am well versed on the various puppy quirks.

Katherine was absolutely wonderful. She accepted a last minute booking for us, responded quickly and honored our very extensive care instructions to make sure our puppy had the best experience. You can tell how much she cares about the animals she watches. Will definitely be booking again!

Katherine was absolutely fantastic with our dog Sonny. She sent photos and regular updates. They went for some fantastic walks and he was so chilled and happy when we got back. Will definitely need you again at some point Katherine! Thanks so much, my mind was totally as ease when I was away.

I was incredibly nervous to leave my cat for 2 weeks, as she’d never been left for more than 24 hours before… Katherine was immediately reassuring and took incredible care of Florence, with frequent updates on her wellbeing. I was able to relax on holiday knowing she was being well looked after. Highly recommend Katherine.

Katherine was so sweet and empathetic to my bratty, high-maintenance Pomeranian. She fully accommodated his myriad preferences, took him on outings, and sent detailed notes. She even offered advice on puzzling behaviour problems! My dog barely noticed we had left, he had such a good time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Katherine!!

Katie is brilliant with our Iggy, very patient and understanding. Feel grateful we’ve found Katie to help on the days I am out at work longer than usual.

I would be grateful if you could provide me with the following information about your pup ahead of time, to ensure it is all fun and games: 1. Any Allergies or Dietary Requirements 2. General Behaviour, personality and habits 3. Any specific behaviours to be aware of (e.g. reactive to other dogs) 4. Lead preferences ( How well they walk on lead, can the be let off and reliably called back etc.) 5. Walk preference, (e.g. pavement, woodland, ball throw etc.) 6. Any training you are working on that you wish me to continue with (consistancy is key!) 7. Anything else I should know. The better I know your dog, the better our time together will be!!!
